Hi Guys and Gals

i'm sure this has been asked a thousand times before but how do i produce DVDs from the Topfield PVR5000t's recorded programs?

I have downloaded the Altair software and have transfered files from the PVR to my PC but what do I do now?

As you probably know the files are .rec and the software I have on my PC wont read it.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Start there. It worked fine for me.

I found the forum help a little confusing and it took me hours to blunder my way through the first time.

To sum up the programs needed once you have the files on your PC.

1. Project X - turns the Toppy file into a video file, and two audio files.

2. IFOedit - turns those video and audio files into a .vob file.

3. Nero - burns .vob files onto a DVD.

Good luck. It's far more confusing using each program than it seems.
