Hi , I have just bought a Dvico HDTV Fusion DVT-T plus , with a rf throughput output . Now I connected a coax cable from Rf out and tryed to tune tv into tuner cards signal , But no go . My understanding is that it should work like a normal vcr where you tune the tv to the signal of vcr .

Can anyone step through what i need to do , please .

Thanks In advance

1/ Run Video and Audio Cables from the TV Out on your Video card and Line Out on your Audio card / motherboard to the TV's Aux inputs. AV1, AV2 etc

2/ Select AV1 / AV2 etc as appropriate on your TV.

3/ Ensure that the TV Out is enabled on your Video card.

Typically Desktop => Right click => Properties => Settings => Advanced => "Video card"

At this point you should be able to see the windows desktop on your TV.

4/ Ensure that you you have an appropriate video overlay mode set for your video card. This will vary depending on whether it's a nVidia or ATI based card.

5/ Start FusionHDTV whatever decoded tv channel is selected should display on your TV.

It's a RF passthrough. ie. It passes the RF signals through the card so you can connect other equipment (eg. a VCR, another Digital TV card) as well.

It does not send the digital channel your watching to a VCR.

Does that mean , if a vcr can go though the foxtel , so can the tv tuner card .

I can get foxtel vision on the tv tuner card via the rca/s-video output on the back of foxtel stb . Will be trying something for audio soon .

Thanks Guys

Gill Sans or similar?

Yep, it's Gill Sans (the most common font found on TV broadcasts (and a certain British TV networks logo).

WoooHooo , I can record foxtel digital .

Just a note - you can't record the Foxtel Box Office movies (not sure about Showtime), as they have Macrovision protection.

I must disagree , if it is coming out of the Scart it has been already decrypted . So therefore would be able to record
