New Pioneer DVR's

I see that Pioneer have released the 320H and 520H.

The 520H is an updated 80Gb HDD 510H but $300 cheaper at $1299 rrp.

Has anyone got any comments/experience with the new model?

I was considering the 520H (or the 720H) until I discovered Pioneer have a 920H model in the offering which hopefully will be released soon in Australia. The 920H in overseas markets has HDMI, which my Pioneer Plasma is capable of handling, and I guess too there's always the one in a squillion chance the 920H :might: come with a Digital tuner, though I wont be holding my breath for that

You might also want to consider the Toshiba X52, this again has HDMI (with upscaling to 720p or 1080i).

Hopefully we'll have more competition in this area....

Steve_i I contacted Pioneer recently enquiring about the 920 but they advised me they have no intention of importing it to oz.

In the UK it works out at the equivalent of $3100 so I can see why they wont be selling it here.

Oh and no digital tuner.
