arctic Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 ok so on my plasma set LG rt-42pz60 i've noticed a while ago that there were these red and green dots that seems to jump all over the screen when i turn the set on, but seemed to go away afterwards so i thought this really wasn't that big of an issue. except now the red and green dots really obvious at startup and doesn't seem to totally go away even after extended periods of viewing... so what now ? get it warrantied ? and before anyone tells me to check the source, it's definitely the tv, as it does it for foxtel and normal free to air regardless.
kirakira Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Are the red and green dots stuck and do not change colour? Sounds like you have some serious dead pixel issues. Go and get your panel replaced.
scanman Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Check your connections especialy if you are using DVI.

arctic Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 Check your connections especialy if you are using DVI. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> it shows up when i watch fta which runs straight through the tv without an stb or anything, same thing with foxtel and dvd's. so i'm pretty sure it's not the connection..
kenneth1503559512 Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Sounds like the plasma may be faulty. Contact your Plasma's manufractor.
