diggings Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Greetings All Since a recent re-scan, Newcastle channels now come up on my remote as: Prime, formerly 61, now 6 NBN, formerly 81, now 8. Makes life easier. Regards DIGGINGS.

Makes life easier. Regards DIGGINGS. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Diggings, The channels (6 & 8) you speak of were always there. They are the primary channel numbers. If you were using 61 and 81 before, you were looking at the other secondary channels transmitted for special extended coverage such as Prime used during the Olympics (stats channel plus a widescreen opening/closing ceremony channel) and NBN has used for the Election Coverage, The Colluseum and Pompei documentaries etc. Normally these channels simply carry the same thing as the main channel when there is no special multichannel telecast taking place.
