Adam-O Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Providing there is no interference problems and the transmissions remain on into the night, the timing is perfect for you to enjoy the multiview event on Nine/NBN at 9:30pm... Colosseum: Rome's Arena of Death This is like the Pompei event a couple months ago, made by the BBC. I watched that from the Brisbane Mt Coot-tha signals and it was quite well made. Not long to go now...! Adam
PinzVidz Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 So, the multi-angle aspect of this show is basically a small "Colosseum" logo in the lower right of the screen and additional information that pops up down the bottom? Am I missing something here, I assumed there might be actual "multi-angles"? I love how NBN have an extra channel, whereas 9 don't.
EvanOnTheGC Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Yep, that's all it was..... kinda like a DVD Trivia Track. Still it's better than what we would have watched if it was on last week. Evan :->
Adam-O Posted September 13, 2004 Author Posted September 13, 2004 I watched the multiview version on NBN. They had the cleanest feed. Apart from the Colleseum logo (which is part of the source -- I think it blocks a BBC logo) there were no other logos -- just a nice widescreen image. Nine had logos on both the main and multiview channels. Adam
Tweet Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 It's only a matter of time before there are animated logos or watermarks constantly on screen,or maybe advertising space in place of the watermarks. The nature of advertising is to push the limits of the viewing public till no one bothers to watch. C.M
Adam-O Posted September 20, 2004 Author Posted September 20, 2004 NINE/NBN have a great show on tonight from 9:30 showing a lot of memorable moments from their vault of programming. Definitely one to see! Adam
