A big thank you to @Hydrology and the team at @Frank Prowse Hi-Fi........a fastidious install of my new Lyra Delos this morning.

Once dinner is out of the way it will be time to spin some records.

Yeah I have a 150 mk2 and a 165. I have built my own plinths and changed tonearm from stock. Although the 150 does have a Grace 707/f8 combo which is “period” I believe.
I have an RB300 and Garrett p77 on the 165.
I did the vinyl nirvana spring upgrade/ replacement on the 165. Need to get round to doing it for the 150. I did install a NOS motor on the 150 and that made a huge difference too
Had a couple of new lids made and they look very pretty indeed. They don’t sound half bad either :)

you are right. They are a bit fiddly but a lot of fun to tweak. They seem to have risen in price a lot recently too!!

Hi Adam,

Have found a Primare R32 from Mark @Hydrology and it’s been very good.

I have not landed at the bottom of the rabbit hole yet, so who knows what will come next 😎😇🙏🤟

You're in big trouble.

This is as bad as wine.

In 2012, I had no records and no record  player.

Now there's this

I am, but I try not to combine too much wine and vinyl.

It's much easier to damage a cartridge or a record than a CD/DAC/Streamer

Putting some more hours onto the Delos, starting at 200 ohms.

What a revelation it has been. A few different angles.....🤟

How do you rate the P9 Sergio?

some say it still rates well against even the P8.

I like it a lot and the Delos has has taken it to another level over the ATOC9. However this is my first ever TT so not a lot to benchmark against.

I have a pretty serious CD set up, Transport and Valve Output DAC and the P9 now rivals it, probably prefer the Rega to be honest.

Hope this answers your question somewhat...🙏

I personally think the P9 is the best deck Rega ever made, not including the Naiad which I havent heard and even it was amazing and I could afford it, looks f#####g ugly.

Absolutely agree and have owned 3 of them and after many years I totally agree cannot not own one so recently found a mint one and bought as my second deck, I have had 2 10's ,3 9's an 8 , a 6 and a 3 years ago. So some experience, Naiad not really on my radar even if I could find one or afford one. 9 is the King, love live the 9. ( sorry what a loud of crap) too many cups of tea watching Perth slowly flood again.😄

Here's an Acoustic Signature Challenger Mk2, complete with an Audio Origami PU7 tonearm!

Originally it came with a Dynavector DV-20X2, but ended up getting a nice little Koetsu Urishi Tsugaru.

Currently paired with a custom designed and built phono stage.

 Much love in here 🥰
