Extra Info:

Well, I do love the Oppo and haven’t had it long, however I have relented under the pressure of the family and gone for UHD player that has Netflix as the Oppo does not have streaming services. We thought we wouldn’t miss it but we do. You can connect a chromecast to the HDMI in, but kids being kids want it a bit easier. I really don't want to sell it, but that's life.

This player is perfect, has performed perfectly and was purchased locally. Great picture and hdmi sound.

I'm surprised the 203 doesn't have Netflix inbuilt, this is one of the main features of the 103. Great price and GLWTS.

Why don't you buy Apple TV, for streaming services. Keep the 203, it's a great player.

Another vote here for getting Apple TV, which is not expensive at all, then you can keep the 203.

sold pending payment

Yes, Samsung was originally purchased and then I sold the Pana cause I wanted the Oppo, then the kids spat the dummy because they didn't want to deal with a Chromecast etc lol. Yes, I am a bit crazy. I only run one hdmi direct to the projector so I need the source to be all in one hence I don't want a separate device for streaming. I know people are interested in the constant merry go round I have. This will be the last change on the source front, I promise!

Hi Corza,

Since you have tried them all, which one had the best picture?

Cheers

I have been watching Netflix through our Sony Smart TV. Should I have watch Netflix through a UHD player instead like OP intended to for better picture?

Appreciate your advise.

Depending on TV, only reason I have to watch Netflix via UHD player is to get DD+ rather than DD via HDMI (as my Samsung LED does)

I see, thank you AMCNAD. I will give it try through UHD player over the weekend.

Would be interested to know if you see a huge difference in picture quality!
