Hi! I'm planning to upgrade the interior truck parts and audio system on my truck. I've found this article mentioning

  • Pioneer AVH-X5800BHS Receiver
  • Pioneer AVH-4200NEX Receiver
  • Fusion MS-RA205
  • Pyle PLDNAND621
  • Alpine Single-Din Bluetooth Car Stereo
  • Kenwood DDX774BH
  • Pioneer AVIC-8200NEX Receiver
  • Rosen CS-GM1210

Any recommendations on these brands? I'm also open to other options.

The only replacement I ever did was to an Alpine unit--many years ago, and I liked it better than any of the others to which I listened.

Now I just use the stock units 'cause they are so much better than the junk they put in "many years ago".

As always the speakers will make way more difference than the electronics. Second and last area that makes a huge difference is acoustics... I would investigate digital "room" correction for car audio if looking to make a really significant difference through electronic means: https://www.dirac.com/live-automotive/
Personally I think all the amplifiers/receivers you mentioned will most likely sound fine. Blind test the sound of the most expensive and cheapest to see if you can pick the better sounding one reliably... if not, buy the cheapest.
