TerryO Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Out of curiosity has anyone owned or auditioned a Whest PS.30RDT phono stage? cheers Terry
The Spider Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Wasn't there one for sale last week, $1800....titanium colour....or was that a 30R?
TerryO Posted July 7, 2017 Author Posted July 7, 2017 Yes Spider it was the lower spec 30R that was for sale last week in the classifieds. There is a 30RDT also for sale OS, anyway it doesn't matter now as I purchased a Lehman today so not buying any thing else right now. Cheers Terry

Hi Spider I have a Redgum phono stage, when I first connected it up to the Denon DP-60L last weekend it sounded very ordinary so I started looking for a replacement phono stage straight away, thus the questions on different phono stages. However since then after speaking to Keith at Wyndham Audio about a loaner Slee phono stage he advised me to first disconnect and then reconnect the Redgum to see how that went and he was right I must have not originally pushed a connection in properly because the sq dramatically improved. Still I can't wait to try out the Lehman once it arrives. cheers Terry Edited July 9, 2017 by TerryO 1
Happy Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Hi Spider I have a Redgum phono stage, when I first connected it up to the Demon DP-60L last weekend when I first brought the TT home it sounded very ordinary so I started looking for a replacement phono stage, thus the questions on different phono stages. However since then I have retried the Redgum, but before I did I pulled out the various connections and refitted them after talking to Keith at Wyndham Audio who recommended I try that and I must have not originally pushed a connection in properly because the sq dramatically improved. Still I can't wait to try out the Lehman once it arrives. cheers Terry Would be fun to read how redgum does against lehman always was curious about redgum since i like their amps a lotSent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1
