Out of curiosity has anyone owned or auditioned a Whest PS.30RDT phono stage?

Yes Spider it was the lower spec 30R that was for sale last week in the classifieds. There is a 30RDT also for sale OS, anyway it doesn't matter now as I purchased a Lehman today so not buying any thing else right now.

Hi Spider I have a Redgum phono stage, when I first connected it up to the Denon DP-60L last weekend it sounded very ordinary so I started looking for a replacement phono stage straight away, thus the questions on different phono stages.

However since then after speaking to Keith at Wyndham Audio about a loaner Slee phono stage he advised me to first disconnect and then reconnect the Redgum to see how that went and he was right I must have not originally pushed a connection in properly because the sq dramatically improved.

Still I can't wait to try out the Lehman once it arrives.

This is the audiophile equivalent of that really bad joke 'how I you confuse an Irishman? Give him 4 shovels and tell him to take his pick'.

enjoy!
