As stated, an exit sign. Needs power and you'll need to buy the small fluro tube that powers these. Terminated in a usual three-pin plug. Hard plastic sign and an enamelled metal casing for the light - it's a heavy-duty item.

 

Maybe you have a business that could use it, maybe you've always wanted one in your den, maybe you've wanted to indicate to certain guests that it's time to leave. I make no judgements  

 

This was gifted to me on decommissioning a former office.
