Guest Runaway Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 (edited) Item: Bang & Olufson Beogram 5000 TurntableLocation: Vic 3130Price: $150 pickup onlyItem Condition: Good. The turntable works well when I tested it. Stylus appear to be fine. The automatic functions works well, and the light is operational. Sound quality is good for this this type of turntable. The cover has fine scratches on the aluminium and perspex area - I think there is a way to restore these to near original condition. The wiring is typical of its age. Note - unless you have a Beogram or Bang $& Olufson system, you will need an adapter for the DIN 5 pin to the normal RCA input. I have one of the following: http://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/52--2rca-5pd-.html which I used to test the turntable. If I find it, I will add to the sale for $15. Reason for selling: This was bought for a friend who no longer needs it. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: There is one on Ebay (with better cosmetic condition) for US$399: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bang-Olufsen-Beogram-5000-Turntable-Record-Player-w-MMC-3-MMC3-Stylist-WORKIN-/132220523606?hash=item1ec8f51456:g:xPUAAOSwXYtYwjml More info: https://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=297 Quite a nice no fuss deck. disco75 Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 If you decide to ship interstate, I'd consider taking it.
