Item:   Elektra Theatre 6CH amplifier
Location:  VIC, Box Hill South
Price:  $900  now $750, I want my hifi room floor space back!
Item Condition:  Excellent - not a mark or scratch or ding on it anywhere!  Front fascia is perfect too.
Reason for selling:  Downsizing
Payment Method:  Pickup - Cash, Paypal to friends, DD
Extra Info:

Selling for a mate who is moving out of his apartment and back in with his elderly mum to keep an eye on her.

150w into 8 ohms x 6 channels.  A monster - built like a tank, here in Melbourne.

Full of quality parts like a humungus potted mains trannie and 4 x Elna Super Gold Silmic 80v 10,000uF mains caps, Sanken transistors etc.

Just beautiful quality casework too!

One owner from new, purchased directly from Arthur.

Serviced by Arthur around 2 years ago to make sure everything was spot on, it has not been used since.

I fired it up and in my system - it's absolutely dead silent!!!  Lot's of power and a good sound.

Not a mark, ding or scratch on it anywhere. (I lie!  The black plastic speaker binding post knobs for the front channels are marked. see pic)

Comes with the original box and packaging.

Of course much prefer local pickup.  However, I will post at cost (it's really, really heavy!) and extra boxing will be required.

Whom ever buys this unit, will be very happy.

Happy to demo at my place for a serious buyer.

- no  (I believe it is like a standard amp of about 20)

- no

-and no.  It doesn't run hot at all.  I had it running all afternoon (using 2 ch) and it wasn't even warm when I turned it off.

I have two interstate guys that want it, but I'm holding out for a local sale here in VIC for the next day or two.

Ah Red this is tempting not that you need another interstate buyer!

the 6 channel units were 150 wpc and it is class AB. as far as gain ask arthur, and whats in stand by ? can always 12V trigger it to go off if worried about power consumption

Yes, this is still available.

I have several parties interested, one of which is interstate and I need to get a quote from Pack and Send for this gentleman, I just didn't get home till 5.30 tonight and so too late for that.

Of course I'd rather not not post it, it's 24kgs!  But whomever comes up with the cash first gets it.

Price of $750 is firm and an absolute bargain, I want it gone.

Regards, Red.

Hey Red

Do you think it would be okay only using 2 channels and leaving other not connected?

GOSH

Can hardly believe that this SUPERB Multi Channel Power Amplifier hasn't been just snapped up by a Vic. Local already

Facts

1, the Transformer would be over a Kw and be worth more than 450 to buy alone

2 the Case is beautiful and would cost 300 in materials and finish let alone the time putting it together with white gloves on

3 the driver boards, rectifier, Power Filter Caps, Anti Surge start up and speaker protection you get for free :)

4 Aussie Made, Locally serviceable

If I didn't own a Holton Precision Audio 6 channel that amp would be mine and I would be on  a plane.

What a nightmare!!!

Up for 3 weeks and no interest and now in 36hrs 4 people want it!

Provisionally sold pending payment, to elvis..  He was the first local this morning to say he would definitely take it.

Apoligies to the other lads  that have shown interest, but I can't cut it up into bits.

Ha yes that is what happened when I sold me Elektra and then the buyer only wanted to pay part payments, I'm sure I was cursed by Elektra.
