I'm looking for a cosmetically good example of this player. I rescued one as 'not working' & carried out some minor repairs and it now sounds sweet. I very rarely listen to CDs, and the SQ of this player is adequate for me (also its $20 price tag was about right for my feeble PhD scholarship income!). However, its cosmetic condition is shot, and it somewhat bothers me! (the tray has obviously been jemmied open at some stage, and scratches all over the faceplate) I've had a search on Fleabay going for ages, with no luck - So, I figured someone might have one stashed away somewhere that might not work, but still looks good. I'd simply use the faceplate / casing as donor parts. If I'm really lucky someone may even have the remote!
