Picked these up off the side of the road. Some cosmetic damage/marks.

No amp. Impedance 6Ohms or something. Excellent for a discreet DIY surround/soundbar project.

Do they work if i get a amp or do you mean it requires DIY? I am keen on them.

Yes, you need an amp to drive them. Tested them on my amp, they are definitely working.
