Help!!!! One of my cherished early Quad mono blocks has a fried input/mains transformer, if anyone can point me in the direction of a working replacement or even a complete unit suitable for spares it would be much appreciated.

Try contacting Quad direct.  They are said to provide support for all the equipment they have ever made.

 

One final thing - do you know why it fried?

May I suggest reading of the forum rules if you haven't .

or you could message the mod team if you have a beef?

Perhaps if non of that suits you may need  a new sand pit.
