Bill125812 Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I had one of these a couple of years back. Great, easy to use unit A year ago this wouldn't have lasted 10 mins. We are a very fickle bunch GLWS 1
Guest yamaha_man Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I still have 3, 2 are used and the other is BNIB. Highly recommended bang for buck gadget.
LogicprObe Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I've got two............one in use........one for a spare.
DAMO 1147 Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 Hi All, Agree there great little units, thanks for the comments. I should have mentioned it comes with original packaging and all accessories. The remote is the only thing that is not in excellent condition. It's been sitting in the draw - not in use and its gotten sticky - not sure why. I will be cleaning it up tonight, but I'm letting everyone know now. My apologies I did not mention that in the original post. Cheers Damo.
Darren69 Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Nail polish remover mate. Watch the paint job on your nails whilst you do it though. So I'm told. 2

LogicprObe Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Yeah............that happens to all these products with that stuff on them. The Microsoft keyboard I'm using now has it on the wrist rest and it's gone crap. Was about to try to clean it up when I saw the bump on this thread. Acetone first?............or waste good alcohol on it?
bob_m_54 Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 I wouldn't use acetone on anything plastic, it will most likely eat into it. I have a couple of bluetooth mouses? mice? that have had this problem with the rubberised grips on the sides. A stiff nailbrush and some warm water with detergent in it, will get most of it off and doesn't cause the gooey stuff to smear so much. Then a final cleanup with some isopropyl alcohol on a piece of cloth.
Jventer Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 I should have said it better "Rubbing alcohol" - the stuff we drink is too expensive.
DAMO 1147 Posted June 13, 2017 Author Posted June 13, 2017 Thanks for the suggestions on the cleaning gents. I wont be using my stash of HibiKi I brought back form Japan for cleaning that's for sure. Did the single malt and beer thread go the way of the dodo with the new website? Also this unit is sold pending payment.
