G'day all, just a little speculation here and I wonder what others think about the possibilities.  A while back I posted how my CA amp was intermittently shutting down eventually found to be caused by large DC output offsets coming from my DIY AM detectors.  Curiously enough the amplifier seemed to work normally despite the fault, however since correcting the DC offset issue, I am aware that my CA amp sounds better than ever, suggesting that the fault was in some way subtly degrading the audio quality.  I'm not familiar with the CA's input circuitry so I can only speculate, but is 'degradation' caused by this issue possible?  Regards, Felix.
