It is clear that MotoGP needs to change in order to entertain the world in the 21st century.

While it does somethings well, it is far too simple. To be a multi-dimensional strategic challenge MotoGp needs to introduce some changes to the race.

Firstly the races are too short and need to be lengthened such that refuelling stops and tyre changes are required, nay, “mandatory”.

Secondly, rampaging Roy Slaven in discussing Formula 1 hit on something that applies to MotoGP.  No more passing on the circuit ! Riders will pass each other in the pits by using superior pitstop strategies.

This is the modern way.

"Bring back the bush, & Ban passing in MotoGP !! "

Would any of you like the T-Shirt ?

For sure!  Make it as exciting as the Monaco F1 GP.  What a spectacle that is!

Mind you, I don't think I could concentrate for more than the present 45-odd minutes of the race. I mean, that Indy 500 is a mental marathon.  But we could achieve the desired result by limiting fuel intake to 6 litres or so.

Monaco is a spectacular "race" - they were switched on very early and banned passing back in the 70s.

I think the next advancement will be strategic shunting into the barriers, like happened last weekend.

The slower car was repositioned out of the way. Excellent driving skills by the overtaker, luckily not the undertaker.

Monaco GP -did you know that on the following Monday all the pits return to be downtown shops , delis, shoes, jewellers etc.

Amazing transformation. Stinks a bit of rocket fuels, but that passes quickly.

I've been there once for the historic GP held one week after the official thing.  Very strange place, full of old men with leggy young things on their arms.  True love-matches, all. I tried not to show too much disrespect to the croupier-Prince's pretend nation.

 MotoGP or F1 ?

but no I don't watch either, dull as dishwater. Now the Bathurst shoot-out...that is a whole other thing.

If they did that for bikes - 1 lap for grid position......might only have 5 starters for the race (time trial).

Dull as dishwater ??

But don't they get to talk about 10ths of milliseconds and tyre temperatures and cornering geometries and stuff.....

Has Bathurst hit the 21st century and ditched those Holdens and Fords yet...... ??

Do not confuse Moto GP with F1, one involves motorcyclists on the limit of human stamina, bravery and skill, the other involves drivers who talk constantly with there engineers/crew chiefs to complain other drivers don't get out the way when it suits them...Bugs
