Item Condition: As new, barely used since I purchased it new in Dec 2013
Reason for selling: I just don't use it since I purchased a Valve amp to play my records. I had this connected to my CD player to play CD's, but the old CD's just don't get a look in any more.

You're welcome to give it a test if you live in Adelaide - if you leave a deposit, you can take it home and hook it up to your own gear to test it

Not too many solid state designs that people will class as "tubier" than an AKSA. With the right speakers these can be magic. GLWTS!

Could be keen mate.

Can you email me matt.newman11@gmail.com

Hi all.

As the designer of this Quasimodo, I could modify it for the eventual buyer to make it sound even nicer than it is now. The latest version sounds much better- even with the removal of the active line pre amp stage. And It can be made to sound very "tubey" if required.:P

Actually , Hugh Dean himself came up with a really neat tweak that is implemented in the latest Quasimodo variant, and it now sounds so good it's almost surreal.

But I have another design now called the Darlimodo that sounds more tubey than many tube amps!

But still, $600 is a very good price, even as it stands.

Cheers.

Richard.
