Gremrock Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 So, I invested a small fortune in a copy of this awesome album on the ORG 45RPM heavy vinyl release. I was very excited to give it a listen at a friends house yesterday, as I currently have a valhalla equipped LP12 which obviously is 33rpm only. We were very surprised however when we put it on, and her voice was incredibly lower than it is on CD. It was so deep and masculine sounding to the point I first thought it was playing at the wrong speed, but taping it, times match perfectly, so the turntable was running spot on... Anyone else have this and can say whether she usually sounds like a man on this pressing? I love the CD, and this simply wasn't enjoyable to listen to.. I can't wrap my head around it
