Extra Info:After a lot of research the LM-219IA was my first taste of Tubes.Build Quality Power and Value .I have been running the LM-219IA with a Pre-Amp in anticipation of going  Mono Blocks .This Amp is the 230V International version bought from Official Line Magnetic dealer .Less then 3 years old .Only used few months a year. Shipping with COPE Sensitive Freight Only.

Good luck with the sale, I have heard the 219ia and own the 503 mono blocks and at this price you really can't go wrong.

So this is an integrated amp, but can be set as a power amp and have a separate preamp feeding it?

 

How do you compare the sound with a preamp and without?

The 219 IA is a great tube Amp on its own.Running with the LM 129 Pre it acts like mono blocks and bypass its own pre.The noticeable difference is the voice is brought forward in the sound stage also adding depth.

The Tubes pictured are as new as I rolled them soon after.Line magnetic factory tubes are high quality as it is.Changing tubes does change the colour of the sound ,just depends which sound is for you!

 

Also the Line Magnetic 512CA Pre would be a better match for the LM 219Ia and the

LM 503-PA mono block as they are all from the Modern side of LM..

I love Line Magnetic and have the 5181A integrated (845 based). These amps provide a musical epiphany for those who love music. Listening to the SET sounds give me goosebumps for hours on end...I have owned many, many valve amps of all kinds and I can't fault this company. The liquidity and airiness of 300B magic with the modern application of SET 'rightness' over the whole sound spectrum. Talk about alluring...

 

Somebody buy this now, you won't regret it.

I have some interest but more bargain hunters then someone who wants a LM 219IA.....Bill Mc lean has a used one for sale.As all interested have never had listen to this Amp they don't know what there missing and the value there getting.

What would, you do a price for, I've just come back from overseas, and it is still for sale??, Has it the original, tubes, or have you tube rolled it, I'm looking at best bass response, can you recommend, tubes to give it a kick, in the bass??, also I have seen this unit in black, and a grey color, what is the one on sale??

If you hover the cursor (arrow symbol on the screen) over the picture under Stump's name a box will appear. At the bottom left of the box is a picture of an envelope and the word "Message". Move the cursor to the envelope picture and left click - a new message box will open - just write your message and click on "SEND" in the bottom right of that box.
