Hi,

Yes, it is an 8 ohm model. The manual says it is also fine for 6 to 12 ohms too.

Cheers

Yes a bargain.  Just received my Topaz from Earle two days ago.  Special edition with KT150 valves and many other upgrades.  Sounds wonderful.

Yep regret selling my topaz. Truly a fantastic amp.

The kids would have learnt not to touch them after a while :)

No problem.

Essentially upgrade from KT120 to KT150 tubes but with the following upgrades.

Specifications:

Headphone output 6.4mm socket

4 and 8 ohm speaker outputs

Upgraded coupling capacitors(mundorf)

Upgraded resistors in the bias network

Upgraded power supply circuit and capacitors

Black chrome(graphite) transformer covers

Black stain birdseye maple wood finish plinth

I saw a custom job he had done with the black covers and the black stain.

It appealed to me as it goes so well with my black equipment.

Note, each of the above increases the price, especially the bling, so be prepared.
