Upfront Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Bloody hell. Was only listening to him the other day.Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
Kaynin Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Farcanal. This is tragic. Such a unique voice, like a V8... Audioslave is a favourite band band of mine, but I saw Chris front Soundgraden at The Big Day Out many moons ago. RIP brother man, so sad. 1
metal beat Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 That is a real pity. That is my age, far too bloody young. 10-1 drugs were involved. Black Hole Sun RIP
Luvitloud Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Holy [emoji90]I'm all [emoji26][emoji26]I saw him in concert in 2015 and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen he will be missed [emoji26][emoji26][emoji26]R.I.P manSent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1
Hi-Fi Whipped Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 damn, another one of the iconic 90s grunge voices gone!
LogicprObe Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 That's bad..............what's worse is that he's younger than me!
unclemack Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 The greatest voice to come out of that that whole Seattle/ Grunge scene. His voice was much like Robert Plants to me in that it worked as another instrument in the band rather than just a "singer" out front. An amazing talent, gone too soon. Very upsetting. Vale Chris M 5
Candyflip Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Solo in Melbourne....one of the great concerts I've ever had the privilege of seeing. Soundgarden got me through many lonely nights in Tokyo in the early 90's... RIP Chris. 3

I think that sentiment will ring true for many of us....many times as a confused angry young man SG got me through. Was so looking forward to seeing a new tour and record. I feel numb right now... 1
Ahh- Schnoo Schnoo Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Wow......blown away by this. I too saw him solo at the Palais, very intimate performance. Not quite ready yet to put on some of his music 1
shaky Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 This is shattering. He had such a great voice, what a range. I grew up listening to him from early SG days, right through to Audioslave and his solo career. That man could make anything coming out of his mouth sound phenomenal This is one of the bigger losses for me musically this year. 'I fell on black days'. RIP Chris. Thank you. 4
maxspl Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Sad to hear Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave dead at just 52.
awayward Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 A very talented man, his music has been a big part of my life, he will be missed, feeling sad
Grumpy Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Holy crap l just saw it on my news feed. Way too young. Rock has lost a great front man and his amazing voice RIP CC
Volunteer sir sanders zingmore Posted May 18, 2017 Volunteer Posted May 18, 2017 Looks like it was suicide
maxspl Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Official cause of death suicide by hanging in his hotel room.....wtf ! According to his wife he showed no signs of depression whatsoever and played a show just a couple of hours earlier where he was talking about playing the next show......strange.
Darren69 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Very very sad, RIP Chris and thank you for everything. As Powderfinger sing, nobody see's your heart break.
