Is Rega Brio R enough to drive PMC Twenty 21?

Hi guys, I am going to buy a pair of twenty 21. I am sure that I will be happy with the Rega Elex R but the budget is a bit tight.

I have read a lot of positive reviews about the Brio R. Do you think  it is powerful enough to drive the twenty 21s? Thanks.

The Brio-R is a special little amplifier but the extra headroom of the Elex-R would be better. Trust me, once you go the Elex-R you will never look back.

Thanks @Hydrology and @ Bunno77. I think I need to go with Elex R. I will start a WTB thread before buying the new ones.:D

I listed a WTB for an Elex-R and sure enough, being, stereo.net, got one in great condition quickly and am incredibly happy with it....

of course now I feel that my TT needs to be upgraded to match the great phono stage in the amp.

and I will make sure I never listen to an Elicit either, that would be dangerous!

Best of luck and if you want to pop in and listen you're more than welcome

Lucky spider! I am hoping that I can also grab one.

Of course, if you get offered some bargain priced Elicit-R, then you come to me, I'll buy that and you can buy my Elex-R off me. Win-bloody-win we call that :)
