proftournesol Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Yes she's right, the lounge really doesn't do justice to the sub, time to upgrade the lounge so that it fits in
Two Flies Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 (edited) You've had to put up with that floral cushion on a grey leather couch (no doubt without complaining), and all you want to do is put a little sub in lounge (temporarily I might add) maaaaate where's the give and take the woman's being bloody unreasonable. You've only got yourself to blame shoulda put it in the pre nup. Edited May 8, 2017 by MC240 1
soundbyte Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Seems like the owl has seen the size of the driver? 1

Sub Sonic Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 @atilsley I don't get the problem. I assume the sub is too heavy for her to move? :-) 2
injun29 Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Might need to glue the owl down Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SteveC Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 (edited) You forgot to put handles in the side so she could lift it to vacuum underneath.....Happy Mothers Day! Edited May 8, 2017 by SteveC 1
Newman Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 If she doesn't need a coffee table..... maybe she needs a footrest! 1
GRP Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Wrong colour. No doubt she wanted it to match the bookshelf.
emesbee Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 I have a solution for the cushions. I bet she wouldn't even notice the sub then. 2
Guest Doppler Effect Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Do what I did. My subwoofer system is too large to fit discretely into my theatre room. So I built it into the ceiling.

LogicprObe Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 I've always wondered why they don't offer a pouffe option. 3

Guest atilsley Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 You guys crack me up.....wife and I had a good laugh reading these posts tonight. Oh, BTW, it wasn't a sub....it was one of two bass units. The 18 inch woofer is not designed for "home theatre" sub output. If I needed more bass (than what the 800 amp with EQ would deliver using 96dB woofer and 12mm xmax...!) then I'd build tapped horns. On the pouffe stool....I built the Bill Fitzmaurice "Table" Tuba, which is designed to be disguised.
