Today is Sunday - I was training a few new franchisees till mid afternoon

Felt like listening to Jethro Tull and out of all the albums I own, I just could not choose one album

After a coin flip to decide & few minutes later this album was the winner

Artist - Jethro Tull

Album - Stand Up

Probably won't stop at one album

The night is still young

Do you find that you have a better record playing experience on rainy days ?

I seem to enjoy it more - not sure if it's cosier or less static in the air ?

A nice coffee or wine and just the right record to feed your mood and it's listening bliss  :thumb:

Yep sure do, plus the bonus of having the house without the fam keeps the noise floor much lower. Bonus also is not having to turn it down if they want to start a conversation mid track.

@Full Range, after looking at some more of your posts in this thread, I'm beginning to think that you're my long lost musical Siamese twin. I've never lived in Glendale though when I'm at home I like to crank out a few Watts. And I've been considering a trip to Montreal.

If you are travelling to Sunny Brisbane - send me a PM, and if the stars align we can set aside a listening session

Sounds like fun but it won't be for some time I'm afraid. Though I am looking forward to it. I'll bring a usb stick if you are set up to handle such a thing.

Just felt like some Jazz Fussion today

Just me at home alone for a couple of hours

So I decided to put on some Chick Corea

Artist - Chick Corea

Title - Inner Space

Album code - Atlantic SD 2-305.    0698

A double album I picked up at a record fair last year

It's has some intricate hard bop elements and some avant-garde periods

But above all it's constantly stimulating

Today a spin for the Aussie band that recently announced that they have reformed and going on the road again

Lead singer Peter Garrett had a stint in politics as we all know

Artist - Midnight Oil

Title - Midnight Oil - Debut Album  1978

Collectors and fans  call this album the blue meanie

A little bit of prog again

An underrated album that has gone under the radar and is actually very good

I speak of

Artist - Genesis

Title - Duke

----------------

Also a German release compilation album of Genesis material from 1971 to 1973

This was released after Peter Gabriel left

The title may fool you but it's not a live album

Artist - Genesis

Title - Reflection - Genesis Rock Theatre

A little help to identify this album please

In my ownership it's never had a cover - it's always been in a white cardboard inner sleeve

That being said its a Geeman First pressing

From my memory, I am sure it's a rare Peter Gabriel - Live At The Roxy

And it sounds like Peter Gabriel - Possibly a bootleg ?

Although the label is known on Discogs - Grausam Reime Schallplatten

I seem to be running on a theme in my music listening

Today it's one from Peter Gabriel's early solo career

Artist - Peter Gabriel

Title - Peter Gabriel [2] 1978

Produced by Robert Fripp

This album is probably a sleeping gem, You can see how he is trying to find his style and the basics learnt from this album has moulded his later works

I remember the day I hitched a ride to Hamilton HiFi on the release day and getting this special Laser Etched record

Only played a couple of times and still in mint condition

Artist - Splif Enz

Title - True Colours

A great album and the music could be described as timeless by some
