brumby
 http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr.pl?vopin&1196304575&openfrom&51&4#51 Personally, I use little teeny weeny logitech speakers with my computer. This might just be the closest approach to the other end of the spectrum I've seen. He's running the Dyns with a Simaudio I-7 integrated too That would have pride of place in my AV unit. Mick35
Anyone would be proud of that little set-up Brumby. And I bet it sounds good too. Near...................or Far
brumby
Anyone would be proud of that little set-up Brumby. And I bet it sounds good too. Near...................or Far Not a chance in all the nether regions of hell that he is hearing anything approaching what that rig is capable of at its full potential. For a start, with an appropriate recording I've got a soundstage that is 3 metres wide with depth to match. And I haven't got a Simaudio Moon I-7 either. just2ch
Hmm... I doubt those Dyns would sound any good in that setup. Dyn speakers pushed up to the back wall????? and side walls as well in this case? What a waste.
jaspert
I saw that a while back and found it amusing. I think he would be better served with some non rear ported studio monitors or top flight headphone setup in that tight space. The C1 are not even tilted up and the tweeters are firing at his upper chest/neck.

2Brix
Possibly could explore some/all of the following: - better treatment at first points of reflection - sub to fill the bottom end - room ... ahem, closet, EQ - power conditioning, cables, etc, etc ... yes i'm being very silly today, apologies for any offence at taking this serious thread OT !!
