Dead Meadow's self titled album arrived yesterday. Highly recommended if you like a bit of psychedelic fuzz rock, it's spinning on repeat at the moment.

Green vinyl is a bit poppy, but I guess it's appropriate for the music.

Purchased today (ebay) 'Sun Structures' Temples (current British psychedelic pop/rock band).Temples Sun Structures.jpg Just discovered this band tonight while meandering through the web. They sound quite good. They're like a 'poppier' version of Tame Impala (Innerspeaker era). LP was cheap too!:thumb: Also purchased a few days ago (ebay) "The Hermit of Mink Hollow" Todd Rundgren (original 1978 Oz pressing/NM).....'Can We Still Be Friends?'....you know the one!:Dtodd-rundgren-hermit-of-mink-hollow.jpg

Need to lose the Mu-So to put the being rebuilt SP10 TT she doesn't know about yet in that space. She won't notice. Especially if the elephants move as you suggest.

I had to restrain myself from buying another 1970's tuner (Pioneer), but couldn't resist these: Handel on the fabulous DG Arhiv label in schmicko, & some assorted CD's & a cassette of Nat King Cole's 'Unforgettable'.

I bought this box set from a garage sale yesterday. The guy told me it hadn't been played at all, so I was a little disappointed to find a small scratch on one LP and fingerprints on another. And the 7" is missing from the set. Anyway, still happy I bought it and can't wait to play it once I have replaced the power lead on my TT. I forgot that because I changed my amp recently, and it doesn't have the old style parallel power sockets on the back, I have to fit a lead with the standard angled pin plug :-/

It's not my pic either, just one I borrowed from the WWW, but the same box set.

Wow Bob, at a garage sale too! I have Birdman envy, I remember when that was released I was a broke mature age student, but one of my equally broke flatmates saved up & bought it.

Bought this today Buddy Rich & Gene Krupa, Burnin Beat on Verve V.8471. A bit grubby to play, will need a bath first.

Not sure if this is allowed, because I've already mentioned it in another post, but I bought this a couple of days ago :D

Today at the Masters closing down sale I bought 2m of balsa wood for a ridiculously low price. There's my inert-item-to-place-under-components needs sorted for the next while.
