everyones_shadow Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Hi @@VAF Do these replace the i91 or will they both be available? I love the finish pictured above with the two colour veneer. Can we order that finish on the floorstanders? BTW do you have the gold Phantoms in? Cheers ES Overdue a visit to VAF
Cafad Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 It looks like they are available in Stereo Net colours too.
Philip Vafiadis Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 (edited) Thanks for all the feedback, calls and emails. More info on the Evo1 will be available soon. We're still unpacking from the show. Please email vaf@@VAF.com.au with requests about these new speakers and simply put Evo1 Information in the subject line, and any specific questions you might have in the emails. Cheers, and thanks to all who came to the show! Especially thanks to you Marc Rushton for making such a great show on your very first go! Philip Edited July 5, 2016 by Philip Vafiadis 2
goodmusic Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Is there ever a HiFi Show in Brisbane ? I have the Signature i66 and would like to listen to the Evo1 and i91 's . I also have the i90's for surround system .. Thanks Gavin ..
Kaynin Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 What a fantastic speaker, I was impressed...and an even better way to unveil them at the hi-fi show too.
swannd Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) I thought they sounded even better than the i91 (which I also own & use as a centre). Edited July 6, 2016 by swannd

Tony M Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) Although I only heard one track played on these it was one of the "stand-out" experiences of the show. A big room, lots of people and lots of speakers, yet this little wonder presented a huge, dynamic and totally captivating sound against the odds IMO. "How the hell did that little speaker do what it just did?" was the feeling it left me with. I meant to get back there and see if it could sustain the magic over other genres of music, but there's never enough time at these shows to follow up every item of interest. Comments from others confirmed I wasn't the only one impressed. Certainly worth investigating for anyone looking for a standmount in this price range - I suspect some very clever engineering has gone into this product. Edited July 6, 2016 by Tony M 2
rantan Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 It is great to see that VAF is continuing their evolution ( pun not intended ) with cutting edge designs like this which use advanced engineering to confound the accepted laws of speaker design. They could easily rest on their already considerable achievements, but the pushing of the envelope can only be great news for audio buyers. Can't wait to get in there and check them out. 2
