No strangers around this place, cheeky_boy and the artist known affectionately as 'the rev', will take it to the big boys at the upcoming HiFi Show, showcasing their latest creations and more in Room 1203.

Founders Keith Oneil and Dave Thompson are both based in Melbourne's west. Wyndham Vale to be exact. The collaboration of the two 'lads' combines decades of experience in speaker design as true enthusiasts.

Yep, Marc, we'll be there and really looking forward to it, too. Dave and I have met a lot of SNAers here in Melbourne and also interstate on our trips to Sydney and Adelaide, but I'd encourage all SNAers attending that we haven't met yet, to say hello and make yourself known to us. :thumb:

Cheers,

Keith

Cheekyboy,

Will you be displaying any of the Pure Audio Project range at the show?

Regards Cazzesman

Yes, Cazzesman, we will be displaying Pure Audio Project loudspeakers and Pure Audio Project have a separate room directly across the hallway from us in room 1202 and at a minimum, they will be exhibiting the Stellar 12 and Trio 15 as well.

We will have the Trio 15 Voxativ available for demonstration here in Melbourne by the middle of May if you or anyone else would like to listen to this exciting new addition to the Pure Audio Project range of loudspeakers. I'll make an announcement when we have the Trio 15 Voxativ set up and playing and we're happy to make appointments now for anyone wanting to audition these prior to the show.

Good, R, it's been a while so also looking forward to catching up again.

Cheers,

Keith

Having already had a taste of the BR1 speakers at Bear's place last week, I will be attending again tonight for an extended audition and a probable take home  trial.

I have been looking around at certain speakers lately and the BR1 has been the best candidate so far and by quite some margin. It trounced a highly regarded and well known name, compact floor stander, which was double the cost  of the BR1.

This is a speaker that draws you in ever so gradually rather than blowing you away in the first 30 seconds. Gradual enchantment is always the hallmark of a superior speaker, not flashy intros.

If I eventually purchase this speaker, I may post some type of review but I also await the release of the BR2 speaker which may possibly suit my needs even more, but time, as always, will tell.

Yes, the BR2 is certainly something I'm looking forward to, also.

Might take a while to save the required funds after purchasing the upcoming Klein DAC/Pre but everyone's gotta have goals :)

Will the BR2 be showcased @ the Hi-Fi Show in Melbourne? I'm keen to hear it after it's fantastic showing @ TonyM's in Adelaide earlier this year.

Cheers

That's the plan, though it's fair to say there are yet other ideas being tossed about right now as well. The cat, however, will remain firmly ensconced in its hessian sack for now.....
