It's been a massive 6 months of preparation for the first StereoNET HiFi Show, and has certainly not been without its challenges, but it's all starting to come together now.

Ticket sales have been very strong, and all but a few of the brands and exhibitors I would like have committed to our show. It's a massive undertaking to do a show (as an exhibitor) and with two in Melbourne in the one year, I'm very grateful to those that have invested in and have taken a leap of faith in our show.

There's still loads to do, but now with the majority of the "selling" out of the way, we can focus on the marketing and the finer details of the organising.

I'm actually getting excited about it now!

Marc, I do hope it all comes together for you and understand just how hard it is and how persistent one needs to be just to get the word out, sometimes one can advertise something for years and people still seem oblivious, haha.

I have a feeling those first seven beers after the show will be good. :D

Congratulations mate.

Hope it all pulls together, it sounds like it will be a fantastic event.

If we were in a better financial / life situation at the moment (just bought a house, spending all my free time running cables or digging gardens, etc.) I'd be down there.

Hopefully next year I'll make the trip to hifi mecca.

Just looked at the exhibitors and brands list again, I can't wait, there's going to be so much quality there.

Maybe I've missed it, but do we have opening/closing times for the show yet?

It just helps with booking flights in on Friday and out on Sunday to maximize time at the show.

Yes Tony, we do but we've been going back and forth with exhibitors to finalise those.
I'll confirm and update the site this evening with the times.

It's likely to be:

Friday: 2PM - 7PM (VIPs from 1PM)

Saturday: 11AM - 5PM (VIPs from 10AM)

Sunday: 10AM - 3PM

Cool, thanks Marc.  No point catching a really early flight Friday then. :thumb:

Suits me fine - I don't do mornings. ;)

I know the distributors - they won't be ready Thursday night, so Friday morning buys them more time for finishing touches :)

Have "accommodation" with water views (a creek) you can share with @@Luc - best offer you'll get !

Won't last long - mosquito  evil Springs is near station and 25 min from city by train.  :P post-116153-0-11714400-1458724213_thumb.

Bit rich for my liking @@evil c

I wouldn't want to get used to such high level accommodation, will have to leave Luc to have that condo all to himself :D

Will be a surprise...... !!! :D

I was thinking of the very unoriginal mattress on a bed in a spare room but might have to think a bit more creative now..... :P

Not sure I can compete with evil springs though........
