Further information: For sale is a pair of the most desirable ECC82 variant tubes ever made. They are in perfect unopened packaging complete with 5th April 1965 matching date stamps. The Tele 802S is the king of all ECC82 tubes. There are many copies but none come within a mile of the Telefunken ECC802S, they are the best sounding on the planet. Telefunken ECC802S tubes are rare in the extreme but to find them in this condition & matching batch/date stamps is exciting. As tube amps become more popular treasures like these are disappearing fast, grab an opportunity to own the best & I can assure you will not be dissapointed. Item: 12AX7/ECC83 EI Yugoslavia (Telefunken) Long Smooth Plates NOS Matched Pair Location: Sydney Price:Sale Pending $100 pp Item Condition: NOS Reason for selling: Not required Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Bank Transfer Fully tested NOS tubes, platinum matched pair of rare ECC83 12AX7 EI made in Yugoslavia on genuine Telefunken made tooling machines. They are real vintage NOS tubes in original boxes made back in 90s in EI tube factory in Nis, Serbia. (Elektronska Industrija Nis) If you like sound of Telefunken's smooth plates ECC83 12AX7, you'll like these too, because they are (almost) exact copy. The only differences are in thickness of halo getter and in "staples" which are facing each other. And no diamond.

I am selling the Siemens as the main tubes and 'throwing in' the others. Price reflects use. The Siemens has some 6 months' wear (around 250 hours). The Telefunken was given to me as "used but good" (plays OK, untested). The Tungsrams are my backup set. Sound from the Siemens is the glorious clear tonality you'd expect. I had them as spares but they’re using up too much space in the house. They sound clear, super detailed and quiet in my phono stage. Heaps of air and tons of seperation IMO. I only tried it out for an hour or so in my phono stage. Clear, detailed Telefunken sound with stacks of separation and a huge soundstage. A really 3D tube in my setup. Very quiet. Price: $325 Item Condition: NOS, work perfectly Reason for selling: don’t need them Payment Method: EFT to mobile Extra Info: Telefunken ribbed plate 12au7s made in West Germany and selected and matched by Tektronix in 1960 in Portland, Oregon. Cloth labels. NOS when I bought them as spares to come off the bench for my cv4003s. Unused by me and only tested out for this sale.
