  1. Who knows how to activate the power amp input? I ask this question is because i have 2 Roksan M2 integrate amplifiers, wondering to use as bi-amp. As long as the power amp input can be activated. Some messages have been sent to the dealer and distributor for help, but nothing comes back. See if anyone have any suggestion for that. Thanks, Beier
  2. For our July club meeting we are very pleased to have the distributor Interdyn present (https://www.interdyn.com.au/brands/). Interdyn is the distributor for many great HiFi products including Artnovion, Isotek, Monitor Audio, Ortofon, PMC, Pro-Ject, Roksan, Roon, Rotel, SVS and others. On the day, Tom Jolly (Product Manager) and Gabrielle Fifield from Interdyn will present a reasonably priced system based on Monitor Audio, Roksan and Pro-Ject. Our thanks to Evgeny Vizelman (Director) and Leigh Fischer (Brand & Account Manager) for helping to organize this event. Details of the system… Monitor Audio Gold 200 floor standing speakers - $7769. “These are really exciting. They are the latest generation of MA's Gold series and they have seen a lot of trickle down technology from the MA flagship Platinum series, without the platinum price tag.”- Tom Jolly Refer to https://www.monitoraudio.com/en/product-ranges/gold-5g/gold-200/ Roksan Blak amplifier - $6999. The Roksan amp includes a PC-USB input. Refer to https://www.roksan.com/en/product-ranges/blak/blak-integrated-amplifier/ Roksan Blak CD player - $5999. Refer to https://www.roksan.com/en/product-ranges/blak/blak-cd-player/ “The Blak range is Roksan's top range of exquisite British made electronics. Understated but great looking units with a delightful sound.” – Tom Jolly Pro-Ject “The Classic” turntable with Ortofon Quintet Bronze Cartridge - $2600 combo. “This is a beautifully built midrange turntable from Pro-Ject with a stunning MC cartridge from Ortofon.” – Tom Jolly Refer to https://www.project-audio.com/en/product/the-classic/ Time permitting, Tom Jolly will also give a brief beginners presentation on the Roon music server. The second half of the music sessions will be our popular BYO. Members and guests are welcome to offer music to share with us all. So bring along your favourite music on CD, USB thumb/flash drives or vinyl. All we ask is that the music and recordings be interesting. We'll ask you to tell us a little about the artist/recording before it is played. Tracks over 6 minutes will be faded out, to give everyone a fair go. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned veteran, you will have the opportunity to listen, learn and share your experiences with others. Feel free to come and hear the capabilities of the system, or to just share the experience with like-minded music lovers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Guests are welcome – we are a very friendly club so you don't need to know anyone to join us for an afternoon of great music and sound. 3. Further Information: One Roksan Caspian M1 integrated amp. The Caspian is the "more refined" sounding amp in the Roksan range. The Kandy, or "K" series is the base model and more of a rock and roll amp (or at least that's how it appears from what I've read on the topic) while the Caspian, or M series, has a smoother mid range and less of a bass kick to its presentation. I wouldn't go as far as calling it an old gents amp but that is one way of looking at it. 70wpc of smooth, mid-range focused power. Price covers postage to eastern states and donation to SNA on sale. I do not have a remote for this amp. Actually that isn't quite true, I do have a remote but I don't have one that works, and that is what counts. Edit: I have been informed that this is not an M series amp, my mistake, I was not aware but have now done my googling homework. The Caspian has been available in 4 different series (that I am currently aware of). The original Mark 1, which this component is an example of, the Mark 2 which is labeled as such on the bottom right of the front plate (underneath the volume control), the M1, which is labeled in the same place but in red, and the M2 (not labeled in the same place but has a different faceplate with lights underneath the channels rather than around them). So in a way this amp is one of the grandfathers of the current Caspian models. Sorry for any confusion, I have renamed the thread accordingly. The volume and selector knobs have a rough-ish rubberized/plastisised finish to them so they don't look so good in pictures. The finish isn't actually coming off them, they just look that way.
  4. Item: Roksan Kandy K2 Integrated Amp Location: Perth, WA Price: $750 with Donation Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Surplus To Requirements Payment Method: Local pickup only - Cash, Extra Info: Roksan Kandy K2 Integrated Amp Terrific sounding integrated amp, this model is from 2011 and I am the second owner, having had it for approx 3 years and am only selling as it is surplus to requirements, better to be in use by somebody rather than just gathering dust. Fully operational with no issues other than remote has cracked glass, which it had when I purchased it and does not affect use. Great amp for driving those Kef LS50's 125W into 8ohm load 190W into 4ohm load Moving Magnet Phono Stage 3.5mm Headphone Jack Amp can operate as an Integrated Amp or only as either a Power Amp or PreAmp Bypass Mode allows Amp to operate as a power amp only PreAmp out allows for connection to seperate power amp Remote has cracked glass but does not affect operation http://www.roksan.co.uk/kandy-k2-integrated-amplifier.html WhatHiFi Best stereo amp £700-£1000, Awards 2011 http://www.whathifi.com/roksan/kandy-k2-amp/review Stereophile Review http://www.stereophile.com/integratedamps/roksan_kandy_k2_integrated_amplifier/ Pictures:
  5. Further information: For sale is the first love of my life, my Rokasn Kandy K2. I bought it from its original owner about two years ago and had it sent via courier all the way from WA to VIC where I live. Still with all its original packaging and it even had the plastic film over the front panel (until i peeled it off) This is the best example that I have seen for sale, no marks on the front chrome panel and is dusted weekly. Everything works perfectly including the lovely original Roksan remote complete with period correct green back lighting and touch display. a very reluctant sell but unfortunately my "new" ATC SCM 11's needed a little more kick, and when I came across the matching ATC SIA2-150 amp I couldn't pass it up. Any questions please do not hesitate to ask - Thomas Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

It's barely been used as I've been living interstate and sitting at my parents place in Perth. Comes with the remote which hasn't even had the screen protector plastic peeled off. Photos: Would pair nicely with the Audiolab DAC I have for sale:

  8. Item: Roksan K3 Integrated Amplifier (2016) - price reduction Location: Southern Suburbs of Perth Price: $2,100 ONO $1900 ONO Item Condition: excellent, 9/10 Reason for selling: upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash or Pay ID / electronic transfer. I also have the original packaging, so can ship if required (postage / courier at your cost with relevant insurance) Extra Info: Purchased brand new from Frank Prowse HiFi in December 2016. Very well regarded integrated amplifier that has served me well, with balance of manufacturers warranty (until December 2021). The Roksan has proven to be quite flexible in terms of system synergy, and has provided great results with a variety of speakers including Dynaudio C1 and Monitor Audio GS60's. One of the key things i was looking for was the ability to seamlessly integrate it into a home theatre set up- the HT bypass works fantastically in this regard. It also offers the convenience of AptX bluetooth streaming for less critical listening sessions. lots of information on the web, but these reviews give you a good idea of how it performs - https://www.whathifi.com/roksan/k3-integrated/review https://blog.richersounds.com/roksan-k3-amp-review/ thanks for looking - any questions please message me! 9. Further information: Great integrated amplifier which gets very good reviews. It is a lot more powerful and punchy than specs suggest, have used them with 86 db speakers and never need to push the volume more than halfway, and has plenty of grip on the bass. I am selling this as it for a second setup that isn't getting used much. Includes all original manuals, box, and remote. Priced to sell. Photos:
  10. Further information: have been using this as my B amp as I’ve been cycling through a few much higher priced intergrateds. It actually won out on a few of them due to its thoroughly entertaining sound and I regularly came back to it it has tube like qualities and and a well rounded sound with plenty of drive and rhythm . I paired it with a pair of PMC 23s as per what hifi’s recommendation and it offers excellent synergy and plenty of current to drive them to house party levels. Excellent reviews online and fantastic build quality includes learning remote and box can ship Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  11. Further information: For sale is a complete Roksan Caspian Stereo System Extremely rare in this good condition. These units have never been sold to anyone and come from one of the directors of a company which made them and have seen very little use. When received, the only item that needed service was CD player which had its belts replaced, limit switches cleaned and PLL frequency adjusted. All the other items were fully serviceable and only performance checks were carried out. A video showing the Tuner and Integrated Amp inside is available from my hear-net-au channel HERE, and the CD Player's video is available HERE This system comes with original Roksan remote which is virtually brand new for it has never been used (I unpacked it and fitted batteries for the first time). Should you want to, I will separate the units so you can buy only the pieces that you want/need. Please pm for details. This combination of both Integrated Amp and Power Amp is ideally suited to people who want to do bi-amping, sending low frequencies to the speakers with one amp and the mid and high with the other. I can ship this but all 4 items weigh about 40kg and probably will be packed in separate boxes because they are very heavy. All covers have been resprayed with PlastiDip which is an rubberised automotive coating similar to the original one used by Roksan. This is because they all had markings from being stacked one on top of another. Photos:
  12. Further information: And, it is still under warranty. One of the best amps: Http://www.whathifi.com/amp/features/best-19-stereo-amplifiers-what-hi-fis-lifetime Far more than: 85W/8 ohm Heavy body, but fine sound. I haven’t heard anyone says this amplifier is not good enough. it is 5/5 sound, 5/5 built. Don’t miss. Secured box! Can deliver to anywhere in Australia. Remember, still 2yrs warranty. Photos:
  13. Item: Roksan Radus 5 Turntable Location: Beautiful Brissy Price: $1100 inc postage ( would pre local buyer, but will pack securely if necessary ) Item Condition: very good Reason for selling: trying a new TT Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I have had this beautiful TT for 3 years now. Faultless operation. Beautiful sound. A true Audiophile TT. I’ll supply a AudioTechnica VM520 cart ( brand New ) with it. Not too bad. I’m keeping my Denon cart at this stage which was fitted and sounded sublime. Lots of reviews on the net Pictures:
  14. Further information: Roksan! One of the best amplifiers manufacturers in UK. Powerful with accurate sound stage. This one is 120w x 2 at 8ohm. 200w at 4ohm. Like new Best for ATC, Spendor, etc. You can hear the improvement in a second when it turns on. The most Important, this one is just like new. Please see photos below. original box, can ship to any place in Australia. Please do research from internet how good it is. Enjoy the Roksan music journey.
  15. Item: CD Player Price Range: ~ $1,200 (new) or ~ $700 used. Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Looking for a dedicated CDP to join the Roksan K2 amp recently purchased from the Classifieds. Preferences and constraints: Maximum dimensions of 440 mm wide x 380 deep. Height no problem. Digital output not required. Digital input a bonus but not required. Something not hyper sensitive to less than perfect CDs preferred. Aesthetics are a consideration and ideally something Roksan would be great but will consider anything. Could potentially stretch budget on the right player. Have considered the typical Yamaha, Marantz, NAD suspects - still interested in other options. Will organise own courier If necessary, or actually happy to make a big drive for pick up (my learner driver son needs the hours) - Coming from the Sth Gold Coast.
  16. Item: Tonearm Cable Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Hi All, I'm after a quality tonearm cable to replace the stock item that came with my new Roksan Nima arm. The arm is now mounted on my Linn LP12, so I'm after something that will work well with a suspended sub chassis (i.e. not too stiff). It'll also need to have a 90 degree din connector at the tonearm end, to 2 x RCA. I've just started shopping around, so if anyone has any recommendations in this regard, feel free to get in touch. Thanks, Jeff.
