Hello, I'm Karl. I have a Biema Q250 stereo power amplifier working in only one channel. When I power it up, the fan for the B-channel amplifier immediately comes on, the protect lights both light up, but the B-channel protect light remains lit. The two internal fuses on the power supply board are OK, and I can't see any obvious damage. The toroidal transformers are both putting out the correct voltage. Does anyone have any ideas about what could be wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My beloved NAD AV716 goes into Protect mode about a minute after switching on. Disconnected all but main speakers and still does it. Switched to an input which has nothing connected and does it still. Next step, Diagnose DSP, Caps, etc. If I can’t diagnose repair myself, I will get a pro repair. If you don’t know, these AV Receivers are amazing for stereo music. Hope she’s back to normal soon.

I've been looking at ways to best clean/protect the piano gloss finish on my C1 Signatures as I'd like to keep them scratch free and glossy for many years to come. They are finished in a wood veneer with high gloss lacquer. After reading through many online posts, I'm getting mixed feedback on this topic. Some have recommended Turtle Wax Ice Liquid or Meguiars Next Tech, some furniture polish and others have suggested not using any products at all. I did ask a piano vendor and they just suggested furniture polish, however I'm reluctant to use abrasive polishes as this will wear down the lacquer over time. Does anyone here have any experience with this?
