Hi all, I am currently investigating stand mount speakers. I have listened to: Krix esoterix altum Dynaudio (multiple pairs) special 40 etc etc PMC 25.22 Qaccoustics c300 totem signature preference order (1st Krix esoterix, 2nd PMC, 3rd tie Qaccoustic + totem, 4th dynaudio) Want to listen to: Buchardt s400 ATC SCM19 Harbeth 30.1 + any others people may recommend I have a budget ceiling of $5000 and the Krix are well above this unfortunately. If anyone has any insight or recommendations that could be awesome, or even if you're in Sydney and friendly enough to allow me to audition. I am not a bass head (dont listen to EDM or HIpHop) More into natural sounding timbre, great sounding vocals and imaging (sucker for a sweat midrange). I also don't want the speaker to sound (small). Qaccoustics really excelled here, sounded like a large floor stander.

The reviews in the link above speak for them selves. These are a lovely speaker that costs $2,300 new plus $250 for the PMC supplied wall bracket or $2,550 for them in total. Am selling them at considerably less only because one has some very small blemishes, though hard to notice (see pics where have tried to highlight. And hence I have discounted these as it makes them not as new. Otherwise they are 3 years old with 2 more years of warranty left and in very good condition. I will provide them with all original box, packaging, manual, brochure, instructions and original receipt from Carlton Audio visual where I purchased these from. They are also purpose built for nearfield setups eg studys and the like. And the supplied wall mounts are designed just for this purpose. Alternatively they also make very good surrounds and given they use the same drivers as the rest of the current PMC range would also be ideal as side or rear surrounds in an all PMC system. In sound they are very clean detailed. Image well. Have astounding bass for their size. And beautifully made and finished in a real Cherry wood veneer. Further information: Selling my PMC front speaker setup, 2 x FB1+ and 1 x TB2+M Centre, basically the front 3 from this setup. The speakers are the Maple finish and other than a bit of bleaching (visible in the photos when grills are removed) are in excellent condition. Original packaging is available and speakers will be packaged in the original boxes. They were purchased 2008 in the UK and shipped to Oz with me in 2011, they were in storage for the first 3 years in Oz and have had limited use since. I won't go on about how good these speakers are, if you are interested then you already know enough without me prattling on about them. I really would prefer a local buyer who can come along and demo them but don't mind shipping inter-state but would be happier for a third party to come demo if that could be arranged. The high gloss black looks elegant in any room. They have a stronger and deeper bass than suggested by the small woofer, and this is achieved by the well tuned transmission lines. Rhythm is good with a fast bass. The two drivers integrate very well. They are not quite as forward and exciting sounding as the Twenty.22, and are more laid back compared. However they are not laid back compared to the average speaker. Further information: these were purchased locally by me from brand new seq serial Numbers 4041 and 4042 they are in perfect condition used on and off over the past 5 years. other than some swirl marks and dust that show up in the photos these are in pristine unmarked condition (this piano gloss black is gorgeous but a pain in the rear to get clean without leaving wipe streaks ??? ) the only issue I have is that one of the grill clothes has frayed from the grill body which seems to be a common issue with these speakers. Hi everyone I’m listing my pmc twenty5.23’s for sale as I’m upgrading. I won’t be able to post them until next week but thought I’d throw them up now. I’m happy to take a small deposit and the full amount just prior to me sending them. Hopefully this gives people a little time to get cash together or sell other things to finance them. These speakers changed the game for me. They aren’t big but sound massive. I’ve honestly struggled to find any speakers under 10k (even some over 10k) that even come close. The sound staging is wide and pin point accurate, the sound is extremely balanced and rich and the lower frequencies are more than covered. They are also not fussy with amps or positioning so you can put them anywhere and get a great sound. These are widely regarded as the sweet spot in the pmc range. They also have a 20 year warranty from pmc. The speakers present in mint condition and have been well looked after. I have all the original packaging and happy to ship. I also have a matching PMC centre speaker if you’re keen on the bundle. Add $1500 if you want it. Otherwise I’m happy to keep it. Notes: - free shipping is only to metro locations. I was using them as rear channel only in Home theatre, driven by some cyrus mono blocks they sound terrific slight over kill for rear channel and am doing a bit of a shuffle in the 2 channel system so NLR, they deserve more heavy use. They present as new, with all original packaging, warranty card and boxes. If you are building a home theatre I bought a twenty C at the same time also in black ash, that I will be putting up for sale soon so happy to do a package deal on the centre channel also.
