Item: Lyra Olympos SL no.16 Cartridge and Lyra Erodion Step-up Transformer Location: Brisbane Price: $21,000, neg. Item Condition: Used, however low, low hours or even 10's of minutes Reason for selling: Yeah, weeping Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: So, Folks, I truly understand this may read a little bizarre, I am currently residing in Sydney though a lot of my life remains boxed in Brisbane, including a great deal of audio gear. Pressed for a solution to a few problems, money always seems to be at the forefront. While in Europe I was in touch with a venerable Scottish dealer who happened to want to relieve himself of said units. Well, I never ever was able to find a 4.2p or an original Connoisseur phono, so I snatched these up hurriedly. They have never been connected by myself. They are in superlative new condition other than the hours spent with said dealer until packed away by himself. I suppose, what I am looking for, is it worth approaching the Australian market with these? It seems my local fellows seem remiss to want to spend on big ticket items. On a next visit to Brisbane they may find themselves on Audiogon. I will not split the pair, they must be considered together. No. 16 of the Olympos SL indicates it was one of the unused 25 magnets found by Lyra's Jonathan Carr in Lyra stock for the initial 25 run of the Olympos SL. Any serial numbers after 25 indicate a client's magnets (used) returned to Lyra for later builds, you had to have a Lyra Parnassus to return to Lyra. This one is no. 16, a personal favour to the Scottish dealer, original new magnets. If interest was high and the price right I would need to consider letting this fabled player go to another connoisseur. The buyer would need to wait until I was again in Brisbane, I would fly back for the right buyer. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I am spread a bit sporadically thin. I would like to work this out with a prospective buyer. You will NEVER see one of these again. This is Not a cheap unit (pair), please understand what this means before suggestions. Thank you. << Price entry mandated above after correspondence with Stereo.net. Prior I had indicated "What do you suggest". As I said, if the Australian market cannot support a high-end component anymore I need to go Audiogon or AudioMarkt or the like for international interests. No. 16 of 25, last chance. I will fly to Brisbane for the right buyer. >> Pictures:

Item: benz micro wood sl Location: blue mountains Price: 1400 Item Condition: newly refurbished by benz . see extra info Reason for selling: nlr Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal + 4% , transfer Extra Info: story . purchased this not too long ago to compare with my others carts. it had approx 100hrs on it with a fastidious owner. i played it for a couple of hours , preferred my other cart , took it off the arm and thought i would smartly hide it from my cat - who likes to knock objects off height . placed it under my cd player , the magnetic force of which lifted it so quickly from my hand i couldn't stop it. bent the cantilever and after trying it on an LP lost the stylus . very unimpressed. it has since been to benz in switzerland and is fixed and tested by them - as new. these retail around $2400. am not sure whether the whole incident means i am meant to keep it but i did have original intention of selling it so have decided to let it be someone else' gain . a great opportunity to get a really nice cart for a substantial saving . please note headshell not included. Benz Wood SL Specifications Output: .4mV Stylus: 5x120µm Impedance: 12 ohms Loading range: >100 ohms Weight: 9g Compliance: 15cu Tracking force: 1.6-1.9g Pictures:

Item: Hana SH High Output MC CartridgeLocation: Sydney Nth ShorePrice: $670 including delivery within AustraliaItem Condition: Near mint with less than 20 hours use. Includes original packing and unopened accessories.Reason for selling: Moving to low output. This is a stunning cartridge and I wouldn't be selling if I didn't need to channel funds in another direction. I also have a Hana EL (low output Elliptical) which is almost as good as this Shibata and have decided to keep the low output variant and move the SH on.Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD OnlyExtra Info: My brother brought this out for me from the UK a few months ago and it has been mounted on a Nasotec headshell on a Jelco 750L/Garrard 401 combination. It is an absolute gem, very smooth, detailed and with not a hint of glare. It is certainly my pick of MCs under $1k. Used only on rcm cleaned vinyl, this is like new.Pictures: I only have one pic handy which doesn't show the needle. I'll upload additional photos on the weekend.

Item: Stanton 681EE MM Cartridge Location: NE Melbourne 'burbs Price: $100 + postage if required Item Condition: Very Good - USED Reason for selling: Upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I picked up this classic cartridge from an SNA member about September 2017 and I've put about 60 or 70 hours on it, but then upgraded several months ago to a Nagaoka MP The Stanton hasn't used it since. And now I’m about to try Clearaudio, so it is time pass this on someone who will use it. No sense it just sitting around here. This is classic looking cartridge with plenty of reviews out there. Personally, I love the cute drop-down brush. A new stylus for this unit can be easily purchased. I’m only selling the cartridge, and not the headshell or fittings – I left it attached to take the pics (…… sorry, not great pics but these are the best that I could do ). I don’t have the original packing, but I can fix the cartridge into a small rigid box for packing if required for postage which should only be $11 Pictures:

It is only 6 months old and has less than 25 hrs on it. I have the same cart and it is an awesome MM cart and a very realistic price. He looks after his gear and the cart is no exception. Postage at buyers expense or pick up Mornington Peninsula.
