Hand made in Germany, producing 10 watts. After owning these, I now understand why people who like valve amps also enjoy these low powered SS amps. Further information: I am the first owner, This pair from Australian dealer were brand new. Under Warranty > 2years 14kg each Noratel Toroidal 400VA x 2 80,000 uF (pair) original boxes, shipping to anywhere in Australia with secure. As the whole system was upgraded, so haven’t got chance to use them. Tested 20 hours when purchased in 2021, and having them on for another 20 hours recently and working perfectly. The new model 3510 costs above $5k. All the same as 3010s2. 100w 8ohm (130w peak) 200w 4ohm (260w peak) 400w 2ohm (530w peak) lots of positive review from internet. Enjoy.

To get a grasp of where I’m am going with this thread you need to of read or have read this article. https://www.stereophile.com/content/gramophone-dreams-34-salt-cellar-system If you go no further at the least it is in interesting read. Some will go “meh” others will take it on board to search for better reproduction. Maybe even build there own SC. The challenge I have given myself and would like to throwout to others is can you build or hobble together a “Salt Cellar“ (SC) system. The core of a SC system is purity of sound, dynamics and immediacy. These are the constrains/opportunities I’m am pursuing; a monaural system high efficiency speakers - horns where possible a tube low power Class A mono power amp or even tube integrated amp vintage tubes mono vinyl phono playback from mono cart or mono wired phono stage ultra short non shielded interconnects and speaker leads of Silver plated wire wrap wire ? Ive been tossing this temp system around since I read that article and now have (in my head) a whole SC system. So cutting to the chase I’m going to build a mono integrated wine box tube amp based on some vintage 807 and RCA 6SN7. Half the 6SN7 will be a single stage preamp and the other half the driver for a Suncalc designed 807 amp. Speakers will be my Beyma 12” concentrics with a Altec 511B horn and FatalPro driver. The horns will handle mid-range and the tweeter in the horns super tweeters. Overall efficiency about 98db. Im current working three other projects but now taken on a forth for a true SC system. Any other takers out there.

The SP-997 Mini Mono Power Amplifier a logical consequence of the enormous success of our SP-996. After hours of searching, I've finally decided to consult a forum. I have a computer, and a Yamaha keyboard, both with stereo outputs/headphone jacks. 1/8" and 1/4" respectively. I need to run them both to my mixer, which takes 1/4" L/R mono. I currently have one of these (http://www.rubbermonkey.com.au/Hosa-Tech/Hosa-CMP-159-Mini-to-1%604-Breakout-Cable-10ft) running from the computer, and just a single mono cable from the keyboard. The keyboard does use stereo sampling, so I'd much prefer another stereo splitter like I have from the computer. Can anyone recommend a better quality cable? The Hosa one does the job, but hisses quite a bit when I amp it up.

Hi, I am slowly gathering bits and pieces for my Martin Logan HT build. I have a Sanders ESL to power the fronts, 2x Parasound Halo A23 to power the surrounds, but nothing yet to power the center speaker. The center speaker is a ML Stage X 70-22000Hz, max impedance drop to 4ohm. I am searching for another amp that matches the design quality as the Parasound and Sanders. Either a mono or stereo/mono with a reasonable price tag used or new. Still chasing and searching for another used A23 but wouldn't mind to hear other options.

I purchased these used to drive a pair of horn speakers that didn't eventuate so can't really use them. I have connected them and they sound superb but really aren't up to driving very inefficient line array speakers to good levels. This cartridge has ~300 hours on it ( out of ~4,000 ) and needs to be used by a music-lover. https://www.miyajima-lab.com/e-mono.html on the "true mono" topic... There are only few manufacturers doing proper mono cartridges. because there isnt vertical compliance in mono cartridge - you can't listen to stereo LP with mono cartridge - you'll damage the record and wear out cartridge\tonearm https://www.miyajima-lab.com/e-mono.html here is a good explanation of mechanics mono cutterhead groove is different left\right only so it's different https://www.vinylrecorder.com/stereo.html in stereo (which is 3d: up\down\left\right cut) - people use 45 speed to make records more powerfull\punchy , due to the limits of the cutterhead angles. in mono - you can have this at 33 rpm, hence records ae shorter (theoretically lower density - wider grooves) btw here is how stereo grooves look like through microscope Photos:

Further information: this is actually a pl-41a which looks identical to the Pl50 The pl-41a is a manual deck with a very good fairly heavy tonearm, with no anti skate. In very good Nic- excellent but a chip in wood at the front( see photos) .
