Item: Grace F9 - Microridge tip, boron cantilever with tie wire - Stanley Engineering Cocobolo body + generic Technics headshell Location: Brisbane Price: $700 sent Express Post Item Condition: Outstanding Reason for selling: Saving for a new phono stage Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: This is my favorite MM cart that I had mounted on my second turntable. Unfortunately I never use this table though it sounds absolutely fantastic. The Grace F9 has been place in a Cocobolo wood Stanley Engineering body which helps cut down on body resonances and allows firmer affixing to the headshell. The stylus has been retipped by Needlestein (aka Josef Long) in the US with a boron cantilever with tie wire and microridge tip. This cartridge shares most of what I loved about the Supex SD900 Super (shibata retip) in terms of tone with superior detail and speed. A truly wonderful cartridge up with the best LOMC's I've run. The best sounding Grace F9 I've had the pleasure of owning. Photos:

Item: Technics EPC-100c MM cartridge Location: Terang Vic Price: $1300 firm, including postage Australia wide. Item Condition: Excellent, the only flaw is a small crack in the clear stylus guard, shown in the photo. Reason for selling: Does not fit my linear tonearm. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I sent this cartridge to VDH late last year for re-tipping. It has a brand new VDH type 1 nude diamond in a new Boron cantilever. Van den Hul himself uses an EPC-100 as one of his reference cartridges they are that good. I discovered this while talking to Nick from Carlton AV who is the Aussie VDH cartridge dealer. It is unused as I had moved to a linear tonearm before the cartridge arrive back. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

Further information: Price is negotiable!!! Jasmine LP 2.0 Mk2, which was the upgraded and improved model from the justly famous Jasmine 2.0 SE. Build quality and sound quality are just astonishing for the price! Note that you would need to pay about 4 times what I am asking to get the current solid state model. This unit has been further enhanced with some replacement audiophile-quality components in the power supply including teflon-coated solid core silver wiring, Philips Vishay 63V caps, etc, soldered using top quality Cardas high-silver-content solder. Modifications were made by TTW, then member of stereo.net.au forums, who is a certified Australian electrical engineer. While the performance is truly amazing for the price, you could further improve it with replacement components in the MM stage, if you wanted. I note that one of these has just sold on US Ebay for about AU$680 plus shipping. Package weight is a little below 8kg. This is not a lightweight phono preamp in any way. [Current models are the Jasmine LP 3.0 Mk1 (about AU$1600 + shipping from China + taxes), and the all-tube Jasmine LP 4.0 (about AU$3500 + shipping + taxes)] ELECTRICAL DISCLAIMER This product has not been manufactured by a qualified individual or company, therefore contains electrical circuits that do not necessarily comply with Australian Standards. Item: Stanton 681EE MM Cartridge Location: NE Melbourne 'burbs Price: $100 + postage if required Item Condition: Very Good - USED Reason for selling: Upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I picked up this classic cartridge from an SNA member about September 2017 and I've put about 60 or 70 hours on it, but then upgraded several months ago to a Nagaoka MP The Stanton hasn't used it since. And now I’m about to try Clearaudio, so it is time pass this on someone who will use it. No sense it just sitting around here. This is classic looking cartridge with plenty of reviews out there. Personally, I love the cute drop-down brush. A new stylus for this unit can be easily purchased. I’m only selling the cartridge, and not the headshell or fittings – I left it attached to take the pics (…… sorry, not great pics but these are the best that I could do ). I don’t have the original packing, but I can fix the cartridge into a small rigid box for packing if required for postage which should only be $11 Pictures:

Item: Dynavector P75 Mk3 phono stage Location: Central NSW Price: $550 RRP $775 Item Condition: excellent Reason for selling: upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Ultra-low noise MC/MM circuitry Extremely accurate RIAA equalisation Patented PE circuit All conventional MM, MI and high and low output MC cartridges catered for Fully user adjustable, no additional components or soldering required Unique advanced power supply The Dynavector P75 mk3 Phono Stage is a unique Phono stage with many outstanding features that ensure the P75 will out perform other phono stages costing considerably more. The P75 also includes the patent P E (phono enhancing) circuit designed by Dr Tominari to dramatically improve the performance of low output moving coil cartridges. A simple arrangement of jumper settings allows all conventional, MC, MM and MI, high and low output cartridges to be catered for. The P75 also has an advanced power supply that operates from a conventional 12V AC to DC adaptor. This adaptor has absolutely no bearing on the sound quality. The P75 power supply runs at over 1/4MHz. It takes the low grade single voltage DC supply from the ac adapter and converts it to the dual high voltages required for true professional quality audio reproduction. The operating frequency is over 12 times higher than the top of the audio band and it incorporates super low noise wideband regulators in its output stage to give ultra low noise supply rails. The internal P75 power supply is totally self contained and stores many times the maximum possible energy requirements for the phono amplifiers. This means that the quality or size of the external ac adaptor is irrelevant. Increasing the capacity of the external supply will make no difference to the quality of the sound. The mk3 version of the P75, offers a small reduction in noise and distortion. An improved, and very new, type of capacitor adds an improvement to the musical performance. The physical arrangement of the jumpers has been improved, both channels are now symmetrical. There are several more adjustments/settings available. Also the quality of the cabinet finish and packaging has been improved. Price includes the ac power adapter, high quality and fully Australian approved. The P75 is a stand-alone phono to line level amplifier. It can operate with the following cartridge types: NOTE: This table will be updated soon with mk3 updates Cartridge Type Input Sensitivity Gain Loading Low output MC Standard phono stage 0.2mV or 0.15mV 60 & 63dB 30, 100, 470 ohms Low output MC Phono Enhancer* - - Zero ohms High output MC MM, MI 2mV (and 1mV) 40, 46dB (and 53dB) 47k (47,000) ohms Dimensions ( W x D x H ) 133W x 83D x 44H mm Weight 475g *Input sensitivity and gain is determined mainly by the cartridge internal DC coil resistance. Three resistance/gain adjustments available. Pictures: (File photo)

I've been looking for a good quality used phono stage MM & MC under $700. My initial target was the Bel Canto Phono 1 as I have mostly Bel Canto gear, but it appears that they are either not common, or people tend to hang on to them, not sure which. So I am expanding my range of choices. The cartridge will be either a; Ortofon 2M black, Garrott Bros p77 or a Audio Technica 95E. I've read just about every review there is for phone stages in my price range and cartridge requirements and am not sure which way to go. So there is the challenge. I've already got a NAD PP3 and whilst it certainly plays music I think the turntable/arm/cartridge combination would benefit from a more sophisticated phono stage. I live in Bathurst NSW, can pay either by Paypal or direct deposit and am always happy to pay for shipping. Have I forgotten anything? if I have let me know. So if you have a phono stage for sale that you think fits the bill, let me know the; manufacturer, model, condition and price and some pictures would also be nice I appreciate you checking out this post Thanks
