Toppings newest DAC is already on Massdrop For quite a good price. I’m going to grab one. The previous model gets a great measurement write up on ASR so hopefully this will be similarly well built.

Its more clear / neutral sounding compared to HD600/650 and often referred to as being between the HD660S and HD650 in sound signature, while having great technical performance for it's price. Further information: These are the Ebony model with removable cables. They are lightly used as my desktop PC headphones. It has 2 tiny marks on the right cup, as seen in the last photo, but is in otherwise good condition. I do not have the original box but can ship them well packed in a box with its dust pouch. Further information: Selling my Massdrop x Sennheiser HD58X Jubilee headphones. I'm selling because I found a really good deal on a pair of HD600s and I slightly prefer their sound signature of the 58X. I can't justify owning two headphones that are this similar and since moving I have less room for audio gear. I purchase them new from Massdrop and they are lightly used but still in excellent condition. They will come in the original box but with the 3m cable that comes stock with the HD600s instead of the standard 1.8m cable from Massdrop. Paid over $300 AUD with exchange fees + shipping etc for the AMP alone – Full payment receipt and drop invoice supplied for new owner for warranty. Headband has been bended out a bit to reduce the clamping force. Selling as it is no longer in use. There are some cosmetic scratches on the headband, please refer to the photos attached. I have a set of Massdrop made Sennheiser HD-58X and Hifiman HE-300 that are my daily drivers. Although I love these headphones, I find I am using my HD-58Xs exclusively atm. If I do buy another HP amplifier it will be a Project Ember tube amp so the Senns are the clear choice here and thus the HE-4XXs must go. Amazing headphones but unfortunately they are too hard to drive for all my devices (mobile and Shozi Alien DAP included). A dedicated amplifier, DAP or sound card areencouraged to use these. I could wax lyrical about how good they are but a quick search on google is your friend here. I will say that they are more detailed and have better bass and much better highs then the Senns. The focus pads these came with are being used on my HE-300s so I am selling these with a set of Brainwavz HM5 angle pads which cost a bit over $50 delivered to Oz and sound much better than the original pads anyway.
