Up for sale is my AS NEW set of Audeze LCD-GX. Very rarely used and always treated with meticulous care and are still under warranty (3 Years) These are the latest revision of the LCD-GX, which include an updated pelican case, and a (far superior than the original) updated Microphone by Shure. All original accessories included. Can include a Genuine Audeze Balanced XLR cable at an additional cost. Will not disappoint. -
I'm seeking advice on a set up to take on the road when I'm away working. I want to get a DAC with inbuilt Headphone Amp or a seperate DAC and Headphone Amp. I currently use K701s at home with a Shiit Lyr but would like to try other phones in the future. Would love to hear the LCDs. I will be using the set up to listen to lossless music or watch DVDs on the TV via a Macbook. The set up would need to be relatively travel friendly, not really talking backpacking here, i nearly always travel in a Land Cruiser and have room to carry gear, I'm thinking of using a heavy duty sponge lined plastic case to carry it in, the type used by photographers or people carrying electronic equipment. So size matters but "travel" gear is not completely necessary. Anybody any ideas? Cheers

The top-of-the-line Sony Z9D TV sets have been announced for the US and Europe. They consist of 65", 75" and 100" sizes. But word from Sony Australia is that only the 65" and 100" will be brought into Australia. SONY! Please say it isn't so! If anything, they should bring in just the 65" and 75" and forget the 100". Don't think they'll sell many of those. http://www.sony.com/electronics/televisions/xbr-z9d-series I had my eye on the 75" model. I hope Sony Australia changes their mind.

Hi All, Am looking for a new screen to replace the old (but very good) Hitachi 42" Plasma. It has a big red line running top to bottom down the right hand side! We have a Samsung 42" LCD in our bedroom and it is very good, and connected immediately to our Western Digital Wireless HDD, allowing us to playing movies directly from it. As I watch a lot of sport, I was simply going to look for a 55-60" LCD with 200Hz (as I can see a tail on the ball on the 100Hz LCD we have), and it was probably going to be a Samsung, as I have had only good experiences getting ours and a few for other family members. I have just read people's views on the Samsung PN64F8500, and am still struggling in my head that Plasma's are "old school". I guess they are not. As I narrow my search, I would interested in people's opinions on what is around now (in the sales) at the $2,000 to $3,500 range, at about the 60" size (4m+ viewing distance), and that would have wi-fi capability to connect onto the home network. Hi guys I'm new to all this and was hoping to get some sound advice from owners of the above units as to its performance. Yes I know, 'how long is a piece of string?' you ask... Well, I intend to purchase one of the above units to mainly watch movies and live afl. It will be located in a 7m x 6m room which can let in a bit of light. However, that can be fixed if required. I also want to project the image on to a screen that is at least 120 inches. I have read all the reviews regarding each of the units and all it has done is given me a huge migraine. Has all the necessary inputs such as HDMI, RGB, composite, etc to connect a DVD/Blu ray player. These are of the bamboo variety and have the Vegan pads/headband. They were purchased around the start of this year by another Head-fi member and then sold to me around 2 months ago. They come in the sturdy pelican-type case with the stock cable and wood care kit as well as all original documentation. --- The Grados are in excellent condition and sound superb. I will be sad to see them go but the LCD-3's are calling my name too strongly.
