Further information: Dexter Gordon recorded this classic hard bop album for Blue Note, in France in 1964. Starring the usual list of Blue Note dignitaries - Art Taylor, Kenny Drew, Donald Byrd - the tapes travelled back to New York with Dexter, where Rudy Van Gelder worked his magic. It features one of Byrd's best compositions "Tanya". Cisco were a short lived American Audiophile label that crashed and burned, only to rise again as Impex. Long out of print, this 2007 reissue was cut AAA by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman. Pressed at RTI. It is the only recent analogue cut of this amazing record. Sealed, Numbered, limited edition.
