Hi everyone West End Music Club meets every other Monday 7pm downstairs at the Burrow café, 52 Russell St, West End, Brisbane. WE.MC is like a book club, but for music. Usually we create a playlist (Spotify) on the night, adding as we go and discussing the music. Sometimes we set a theme for the night to create a challenge, for example, our first night was Better than the Beatles, or covers that were better than the originals. The idea is to create some discussion and listen to great music. The format is relaxed, but we are open to contributors presenting a band, theme or whatever. We normally finish between 9-9.30 and the Burrow has a great selection of beer and food, at good prices. Our next night is this Monday 25th June, and every fortnight following.
