Further information: I have for sale my much loved Rega Planar 3. It has been heavily modified - the only thing original about it is the plinth, the dust cover, and the bearing sleeve. The following modifications have been done: RB300 tonearm Threaded VTA adjuster Michelle Tecnoweight counterweight Incognito rewire (with cadras litz wire) New 24V TT motor Motor speed controller/PSU Dual pulley for motor Groovetracer subplatter with ruby bearing Groovetracer delrin platter (white) SRM Tech silent base - this is the acrylic base you see beneath the plinth. The motor is housed there, completely decoupling it from the rest of the TT Also part of the package is a Dynavector 20x2L MC cart. The is the low output version, at 0.2mv. Probably $4500 value here. Feel free to ask me any questions Local pick up only, as I cannot pack this. Photos:

Item: Dynavector MC Karat 17D MKII 17D2MKll Karat Diamond is the first cartridge built using 'dispersion' theory. Its Micro-Ridge stylus and very short (1.7mm) solid diamond cantilever give a huge reduction in 'frequency dispersion', unmatched dynamics and a high frequency extension all the way up to 100kHz. The latest patented magnet circuit design increases the output to 0.26mV with crystal clear mid-range and treble even during the largest symphonic crescendos. ynavector Karat is notable for its gemstone cantilever. This 1.7mm long and 0.25 mm in diameter solid diamond cantilever has its 0.06 square mm stylus mounting hole precision cut by a laser beam machining precess. The Micro Ridge of 0.06 square mm nude diamond stylus is carefully mounted in the cantilever. The armature of 0.9mm square and 0.4mm thick is much smaller than normal, upon which are wounded 70 turns per channel of 11 micron fine wire. Due to the short rigid construction of the cantilever the 17D2MKll showed a flat frequency response up to 50KHz. The New 17D2MKII now features Dynavector's unique magnetic flux damping and softened magnetism (patent) along with powerful Neodymium magnet that combine to eliminate any hardness or irritating edginess that commonly occurs in many moving coil cartridges. Further information: For sale is my VPI Scout turntable with JMW9 tonearm, Dynavector 20x (VPI) MC cart and made to order acrylic cover. A great table that has plenty of positive reviews that highlights its price/performance ratio very much in favour of the consumer. The Dynavector 20x cart was custom made for VPI with 1mV output. It combines the speed of low output and richness and low noise of high output. It has been sparingly used by me so plenty of hours still left. The acrylic cover was made to order and still in great condition. Comes with the JMW memorial tonearm alignment jig and spare cart screws/screwdriver. All in all a great table setup! I am a fastidious person (read anal) with my audio equipment, so rest assured everything is in excellent condition. I still have the box but l am reluctant to shipat this stage as l think l will struggle on how to pack it all up safely. So local sale is preferred.

Item: dynavector 10x5 Moving coil high out cartridge. Location: Perth Price: 725 Item Condition: brand new unopened Reason for selling: unused as thought existing cart was damaged but isn't. Payment Method: normal pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD or ship and courier Extra Info: Brand new. Unused store stock Stereophile Recommended Component The latest in Dynavector's entry-level series, the high output 10x5 moving -coil proved "ridiculously good for the money." Hifi World Review The most musical cartridge at or near its price, the baby Dynavector is a classic budget audiophile product. - For more than 30 years Dynavector's Moving Coil cartridges have continuously enjoyed worldwide acclaim due to a combination of innovative design, advanced production techniques and an unwavering commitment to the musical source. Over the same period many new formats such as Compact Disc, MP3, SACD and DVDA have come to dominate music reproduction. However many audiophiles consider that these digital mediums leave much to be desired when compared to analogue recordings. Consumers and the recording companies remain confused as to which digital medium will become the standard and in the meantime the vast heritage of recorded music, spanning almost a century, is placed in jeopardy. Fortunately Dynavector have never capitulated to the giant digital industry and have continued to refine their unique range of MC cartridges, providing music lovers with the highest standard of music reproduction that matches or surpasses any digital source. At any price point, the audiophile can be guaranteed that a Dynavector MC cartridge will both move and excite the listener to new heights of listening pleasure. A pleasure for many that comes only from a genuine analogue source. Dynavector 10X5 Details The Dynavector 10X series High Output Moving Coil cartridge debuted in 1978 winning the prestigious Design and Engineering Award at the Chicago CES in both 1978 and 1981. The 10X series cartridges are also widely accepted at the benchmark in High Output moving coil cartridge at this price point and beyond. With the introduction of the new 10X5 High Output moving coil there is no doubt Dynavector will retain this enviable position and again set the standard for high output moving coil cartridges. Improvements to the Latest 10X5 The 10X5 now features Dynavector's unique magnetic flux damping and softened magnetism (patent) along with powerful Neodymium magnet that combine to eliminate any hardness or irritating edginess that commonly occurs in many moving coil cartridges. Dynavector are also renowned for the capability of winding the finest coil assemblies. This has enabled them to minutely increase the coil wire diameter of the 10X5 to achieve a reduction of impedance to 150 ohms whilst retaining a healthy 2.5mV output. This also ensures both a rugged and reliable circuitry. The 10X5 also features a newly designed Aluminium head block with M2.5 thread to provide a rigid platform for the cartridge motor and secure fixing to the tonearm. User Manual Stereophile Review "The Dynavector 10x5 more than lives up to my memory of its predecessor. This colorful, well-balanced, chunky-sounding cartridge played music extremely well, with a bonus of very fine stereo imaging. In other words, it's a great all-arounder...The Dynavector 10x5 should give you most of what you need at a bargain price. Wildly, highly recommended." - Art Dudley, Stereophile Oct. 2003 tnt-audio "Bar none, I found the Dynavector to be the best overall cartridge that I have had the opportunity to hear to date, and a tremendous value to boot. I give the Dynavector DV-10x4 MKII my heartiest recommendation. In fact, I have been loath to invite my friend by for a listen. He may want his albums back!..." Techradar, Dynavector DV-10X5 review Precise sound for a bargain price The 10X5 is the least expensive cartridge in Japanese brand Dynavector's extensive range and its origins can be traced back to a time when vinyl ruled supreme (1978, to be specific). It has gone through five revisions since then, so is a more up-to-date design with an elliptical stylus and a more conventional downforce requirement for an MC of two grammes. 6th Street Bridge Review Even without any break-in, the Dynavector 10X5 shows itself to be a great performer. Music has color, vibrancy, dynamics and is now oh so much more fun to listen to. Listening to Supertramp's "Crime of the Century" revealed snarling guitars, deep rich bass and a wonderfully extended but clean treble. Instruments now had air around them and vocals had more definition. We listened to a few more discs - original pressings of Steely Dan, John Lee Hooker and Dire Straits - and reveled in the pure enjoyment of music. The 10X5 punches above it's price point with a quick detailed sound that doesn't get annoying. It is strange how the music sounds so fast but still has a warm natural rhythm and flow. From memory the overall sound reminds me of the original $99 Sumiko Blue Point of yore, but the 10X5 definitely has stronger bass and a more full bodied presence. A wallet-friendly option It has a strong 2.5mV output meaning you don't need a hyper-sensitive MC phono stage, making it more economical for those starting out on the vinyl path to sonic enlightenment. A forthcoming revision is said to include threaded inserts, which would greatly aid mounting, but as it stands it's difficult to set up. You have to use the supplied aluminium slot-head bolts and round nuts and there's no stylus guard for assurance. Vibrant Sounds Fortunately, it's worth the trouble (it wouldn't still be around if not) and is capable of producing a solid and precise soundstage with real weight and power. Tonally, it's very convincing too, managing to combine good detail resolution with a relaxed balance that's sensitive to timing without leaning on the leading edges. The lazy groove of Tom Waits' Swordfishtrombone sounds so right that it's hard to find the limitations unless you have something better on hand (the Ortofon Rondo Red reveals greater subtlety in the bass and a little more refinement). But the Dynavector makes up for this with vibrant dynamics and a great sense of timing that hooks you into the music. Pictures:just opened box for first time . Bought and changed mind as existing cart still works just covering as much of cost as possible.

Further information: I bought this in November and it has served me well. It was a big upgrade on the existing phono stage in my integrated amp. But alas, now I am looking for something more and would like to use the funds from this sale (adhering to the 'one-in, one-out' policy) to purchase a different beast. I was using this with a Denon DL-103 for anyone wondering. Price includes postage and comes with the 12v power supply. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved. -
Further information: Dynavector 20x2L MC cart .3mv this is around 6 years old and unfortunately my pet Cockateil bumped into the arm and bent the cantilever. I can see the cantilever at the diamond tip is slightly twisted, tip itself only has around 400 hours but unsure if repairable. Therefore priced to sell at way below trade in price of 20% ($272) Alternatively to trading in, could get it retipped for around $300 - the last time I researched. Can post for an additional $15 Photos:

Item: Dynavector P75 Mk3 phono stage Location: Central NSW Price: $550 RRP $775 Item Condition: excellent Reason for selling: upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Ultra-low noise MC/MM circuitry Extremely accurate RIAA equalisation Patented PE circuit All conventional MM, MI and high and low output MC cartridges catered for Fully user adjustable, no additional components or soldering required Unique advanced power supply The Dynavector P75 mk3 Phono Stage is a unique Phono stage with many outstanding features that ensure the P75 will out perform other phono stages costing considerably more. The P75 also includes the patent P E (phono enhancing) circuit designed by Dr Tominari to dramatically improve the performance of low output moving coil cartridges. A simple arrangement of jumper settings allows all conventional, MC, MM and MI, high and low output cartridges to be catered for. The P75 also has an advanced power supply that operates from a conventional 12V AC to DC adaptor. This adaptor has absolutely no bearing on the sound quality. The P75 power supply runs at over 1/4MHz. It takes the low grade single voltage DC supply from the ac adapter and converts it to the dual high voltages required for true professional quality audio reproduction. The operating frequency is over 12 times higher than the top of the audio band and it incorporates super low noise wideband regulators in its output stage to give ultra low noise supply rails. The internal P75 power supply is totally self contained and stores many times the maximum possible energy requirements for the phono amplifiers. This means that the quality or size of the external ac adaptor is irrelevant. Increasing the capacity of the external supply will make no difference to the quality of the sound. The mk3 version of the P75, offers a small reduction in noise and distortion. An improved, and very new, type of capacitor adds an improvement to the musical performance. The physical arrangement of the jumpers has been improved, both channels are now symmetrical. There are several more adjustments/settings available. Also the quality of the cabinet finish and packaging has been improved. Price includes the ac power adapter, high quality and fully Australian approved. The P75 is a stand-alone phono to line level amplifier. It can operate with the following cartridge types: NOTE: This table will be updated soon with mk3 updates Cartridge Type Input Sensitivity Gain Loading Low output MC Standard phono stage 0.2mV or 0.15mV 60 & 63dB 30, 100, 470 ohms Low output MC Phono Enhancer* - - Zero ohms High output MC MM, MI 2mV (and 1mV) 40, 46dB (and 53dB) 47k (47,000) ohms Dimensions ( W x D x H ) 133W x 83D x 44H mm Weight 475g *Input sensitivity and gain is determined mainly by the cartridge internal DC coil resistance. Item: Dynavector DV-XX2MKII MC Phono Cartridge Location: Wantirna South, Victoria Price: $1400 Item Condition: Excellent <100hrs of use Reason for selling: Change of circumstances, moving away from vinyl Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Postage will be around $10 - 15 Dynavector cartridges rarely appear for sale. Once you've made the purchase, selected the house sound, theres little reason to upgrade. Thats how good they are. To give absolute confidence that the MC Cartridge is as good as mentioned, I have taken multiple high-resolution photo's. The lens attached to the camera, does not let me get closer images. The cartridge was fitted to a turntable for about a year, I spent most of that year travelling interstate and international, so little use. The 100hours stated is more for the time that the cartridge was fitted to the turntable, than for playing records. The cartridge serial number is within 363 of the last one sold on Stereonet. I purchased the cartridge whilst travelling internationally. https://www.dynavector.com/products/cart/e_xx2mk2.html https://www.melbournehifi.com.au/products/dynavector-dv-xx2-mkii Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

If your not familiar with it there's plenty of reviews online. Comes with the Russ Andrews Dynapack (no power cord) I might have a standard power cord if any interested buyers don't have one. The Dynapak power pack is an improvement on the standard power pack. This combo was a huge upgrade from my Pro-ject phono, with far greater dynamics and tighter base notes. I'd still be using it if I hadn't upgraded to a RCM Sensor at more then double the price used from another SNA member. Pictures:
