It has been successfully used as a Volumio audio player streaming wired/wirelessly from your computer or other networked devices and making use of the SPDIF optical output to feed into your DAC. The Vero represents a more powerful (CuBox i2eX) device than the equivalent Raspberry Pi and HiFi Berry Digi + board. The latter costs more and is less elegant. The SD card has been flashed to the latest Volumio player resulting in an impressive tiny form factor device to deliver DSD or PCM audio streams to my DAC. Anyone looking for an Auralic Aries Mini as a streamer should seriously consider this. Comes with a standard 5VDC wall wart . Of course this can also be reflashed to KODI OS and stream videos.
