I currently have a ProAc Response D centre connected to a Yamaha RXA1020 and Monitor Audio BRFx connected to a Perreaux Audiant 80i. Yes this is ridiculous. I am waiting on delivery of my ProAc D18's and let me tell you I am getting a little impatient! No pics, it is just too sad.

I recently acquired a Marantz PM11S1 integrated and have been running it with my ProAc Response 3.5 in the main system. I wanted to try a sleek integrated solution with high WAF. Evidently the silver Marantz has higher WAF than the black Acurus DIA100. First impression was of a sound reminiscent of the Primare i30. Clean and inoffensive but lacking the valve sound (colouration) of the Tempest. That is a statement of my personal preference - not a judgement! I decided to bi-wire using the amplifier's second pair of speaker posts. Simply select Speakers A + B and away you go. What A Difference! The mids and highs are indistinguishable from my Tablette Reference 8 (my personal benchmark) but bass is significantly tighter. Everything sounds more defined. This is at odds with my last attempt at bi-wiring which resulted in no discernible change in sound. I had given up on bi-wiring after that episode. Hi Guys, Would like some inputs from people who have listened to Primare Gear especially the A32. I am currently looking to add a two channel Power. My gear currently is all ProAc's driven by an Arcam FMJ P7. Before going multichannel I had ProAc's Response D2's paired with Plinius Hautonga which was really nice and I liked the way it sounded, did not like the preamp part of it but the power amp stage was really good. Now having moved my D2's as rears and currently have D28's for the fronts with the arcam driving it. I feel something is missing. I will be connecting the power amp with Cary Cinema 12, My source is a Logitech Transporter two channel duties and I also have a HTPC. Price wise both Plinius P10 and the Primare are priced similar. But specs wise the A32 has a bit more power when compare to the Plinius. There are loads of reviews on the net which pairs ProAc's with both these companies. Cheers!!

It drives the ProAc Tablette Reference 8 and Response 3.5 with ease. The passive pre-amplifier stage definitely contributes to a beautifully smooth and clean sound. There is a surprising synergy between the Acurus and the ProAc speakers. I had never heard of the Acurus brand prior to a fellow SNAer referring them I will include an "audio bonus" for any local SNA buyer. HINT: It may have Marantz on it, and it may spin little discs...

Further Information: Here's your chance to own a one owner pair of Proac Studio 125 speakers in great condition. A small scuff on one speaker as illustrated in the last pic.. furniture polish will easily sort. These little beauties are very musical, there's plenty of reviews online and most people know the Proac reputation so: say no more. I've run these with both tube and solid state gear, they never fail to impress! I dont have the boxes so shipping isn't an option, collect sale only thanks.

The cabinets are personally signed by Stuart Tyler. These sound more transparent than the standard Tab Ref 8, and have better bass response. They will come in the original box. Hi Guys, I am looking for a Pair of ProAc D28's in Mahogany. I'm looking to upgrade my ProAc D2's. I would like it in Mahogany but if the price is right then I woudn't mind any other color if the offer is too good. I wouldn't mind swaping with my D2's + stands(Atacama) + the difference if someone is looking for a change in direction
