  1. Greetings, So I purchased a PDX DAC about a month ago and it came with a Gold Aero E88CC tube. Gold Aero don't make their own tubes, they rebrand others. I really like this tube, I have compared it against many other 6DJ8/6922/7308 including a Siemens CCa and a Pinched Waist Amperex 6922 and I still like this Gold Aero the best. Does anyone know which tube is this actually a rebrand of? All I know is it was made in Holland and pictures:
  2. Rare NOS matched pair of Philips SQs made by Mullard in famous Mitcham factory. Prints in great condition. Famous Mullard dynamics - glorious mid range and wonderful extension and "air". I have an extensive collection of Mullards and these set were not used - run for a few hours to test for noise etc. Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that upon successful sale of your item it is expected you pay Seller's Fees. - if you have previously sold items and not made a contribution, your advertisement may not be approved.
  3. NOS pair of Siemens 6922s - same family of tubes as the CCA's. Typically lush, easy to listen to Siemens sound - better top and bottom end than the Philips SQs. Have got several pairs of CCA's, hence letting these go. These tubes were featured in the list of the best 6922 tubes, alongside the CCAs. 4. The NOS Siemens E288CC (8223) tube is a variant similar to 7308 and 6922 tubes. More details here - Siemens E288CC / 8223 Audio Tubes - www.thetubestore.com and E288CC / 8223 Siemens Gold Pin (tubeampdoctor.com) These are considered to be as good as the Siemens CCA's - Earmax E288CC | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org Selling as I have several pairs of the CCAs which sound similar to these. 5. These tubes need little introduction ... becoming more rare to find in good condition and therefore fetching upwards of $1000 - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/164354217376 Generally regarding as one of the best tubes in the 6922 series. The grey shields (apart from the even rarer versions with the d-getters) are generally regarded as the best of the Siemens CCAs. I still have several pairs of these and have recently purchased a set of rare Philips 2 star SQ's with d-getters as I look to diversify my tube collection, hence letting this spare, unused set go. I have run them for a few hours to check they work, have no noise etc etc.
  6. Original vintage European tubes. Made by Philips in Holland for Valvo in West Germany. ALL with Delta-code, GREY shield, LARGE o-getter and gold pins. Really similar to the Philips SQ in tonality (3d, holographic, lush, musical) and given I have several pairs of the SQs, am selling this set. These tubes were rated really well in the famous shootout - see attached picture. More details as follows: http://www.nostubestore.com/2010/05/valvo-e88cc-holland.html And https://www.tubemuseum.org/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=Philips-E88CC Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that a reasonable donation for selling fees is expected upon successful sale of your item - if you have previously sold items and not made a donation, your advertisement may not be approved.

  10. NOS quad set of the famous USA Amperex PQ. Rich dynamic sound. In great condition with cleans pins and intact labels. I have several sets of the Amperex 6922 PQs and 7308's, hence selling this spare set. 11. The famous Bugle Boys - lively and detailed tubes. Having settled on a wonderful stash that includes telefunken and siemens CCA's, pinched waists and d-getters, reflektor 75's etc, am getting rid of my spare, unused sets. These tubes test at new specs 110%/110% and have been tested for noise and microphonics. 12. Further information: NOS GE 6DJ8 ECC88 6922 smoked glass tubes in original box Very well regarded tubes by Schiit tube amp users. Similar, energetic sound as bugle boys. 13. Further information: The best Tesla 6922 tubes - uber rare yellow label, gold grids with gold pins. These apparently were modelled after Telefunken's and given I also own Telefunken CCA's, I can confirm that the sound signature is really similar, albeit these Tesla's have better extension. More info can be found here, including the prices these command now: https://www.tubemuseum.org/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=TESLA-GG-6922 and https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/293075480756 Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that a reasonable donation for selling fees is expected upon successful sale of your item - if you have previously sold items and not made a donation, your advertisement may not be approved.

  15. Arguably the best 6922/6dj8 tubes available. 3d, holographic, incredible sound stage - my favourite tubes, even better than the famous '75 holy grails which I also have as well as amperex pq's. Getting more rare (and expensive!!) to find in good condition. With acid etched codes in the glass to prove authenticity. More details on these tubes are here: http://www.audiotubes.com/6dj8.htm and https://www.audioasylum.com/scripts/d.pl?audio/faq/joes-tubes.html#6DJ8. These finished near the top in famous shootout: https://www.changstar.com/www.changstar.com/index.php/topic%2C2587.0.html These are getting harder to find in good condition, let alone NOS and normally go from between $900-$1200 on sites like Ebay and Reverb. These are my spare set (NOS). 16. Further information: JAN 6922 / 6DJ8 ECC88 compatible Philips ECG Blue print USA NOS military issue tube in original/white box. Good bang for buck and lots of great reviews: https://www.thetubestore.com/jan-philips-6922-low-noise Similar sound signature to Philips 6922 SQ - perhaps slightly less airy but stronger bottom end. Price is for a pair. 17. Pair of the famous Mitcham UK Mullards. I bought these NOS and used them for around a month before buying the E88CC-01 version of these - obviously loved them. Glorious mid range and really easy to listen to.
  18. Incredibly rare tubes ... widely regarded as some of the best 6922/ E88CC tubes. Same as these tubes: https://www.ebay.com/itm/192551255977 Made in Hamburg (not Holland as the more common Valvo tubes). Strong, dynamic sound - nice bottom end.
  19. 20. Siemens E88CC tube pair. Some of the best tubes within the 6922 series.
  21. Incredibly rare tubes ... widely regarded as some of the best 6922/ E88CC tubes. Made in Hamburg (not Holland as the more common Valvo tubes). Strong, dynamic sound - nice bottom end.
  22. Mullard 6922 / E88CC / CV2492 Tube Pair. Musical sound with great mid range. Labels mismatched, hence lower price.
  23. NOS Philips 2 Star 6922 tube with halo getter. Famous lush Philips Holland sound.
  24. Valvo 6922 tubes made in Holland. Lush and musical tubes.
  25. Philips SQ E88CC / 6922 Gold Pin tubes. SQ stands for Special Quality and was only given to tubes that passed stringent quality standards. Made in the Heerlen plant in Holland, these tubes are known for their lush, almost liquid midrange. They exhibit a sweet top end and are very 3 dimensional. I have several pairs of these, hence selling a spare set. Tested for few hours for noise etc.
