    Arrived home today to find a package on the doorstep. It had to be a NOS pair of RCA 2A3's that I'd been waiting for Thought I'd better get a new pair since my current ones have been in use for nearly two years and were used when I got them. So after checking the system over, as I've been away for 2 weeks, and popping the new 2A3's in the sockets I fired it all up. After the usual ten minute warm up period (yes I have become a crazy valve lover with 13 in the system now) I lowered the arm on the first LP. Damn, I can't believe how much muscle I had lost with using, in hindsight, what were worn out power valves. When you only have 4 watts it's important to have healthy valves
