Always used in a child and animal free house with no noticeable blemishes. 11.2 channels of processing (9 channels of amplification) with MultEQ XT32 room correction, which supports independant subwoofer calibration. Dolby Atmos & DTS X A few things to note: - Had the HDMI board replaced under warranty by QualiFI. Continued to work perfectly after that. - Adjusting volume via the remote works perfectly, but using the front panel dial makes the volume go randomly up and down. Works fine if you just use the remote. - Started randomly going into standby. Resolved this by turning auto-standby off. Further Information: This is a lovely 1980's tuner that sounded gorgeous and looked the part for the last 15 years. At some point it developed a tuning issue, which I had repaired by CVE in Coburg. I wasn't very happy with the job, it worked properly for a week and then developed a hum. I was then away in the UK and couldn't take it back. Silver colour. Gyroscopic tuning wheel runs smoothly. Very satisfying to use. I am not sure what is wrong with it, but I no longer want to deal with CVE. The receipt for $150 for the repair is shown. This is probably an easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing. I am only after the cost of repair (approx) and then I'm sure it we be lovingly restored by you or someone you know. I've gone digital now, which isn't as much fun and doesn't sound as good - but space being space, you know the deal?! Have fun, pick up is in Brunswick. Postage to other states considered.

Further Information: Hopefully will have success on this platform selling my Marantz SR5015 receiver which has been well taken care of used in a dark air condition room with an external Marantz 7 channel power amp as the speaker drive unit. Have all necessary original packaging including manual and other materials. Photo shows it with Isoacustic feet however unit will be sold with original feet and also the EGM usb cap is also excluded from sale. Regrettable bought a Marantz SR6015 at an okay new price that is replacing my SR5015, some say I should have bought a Marantz Cinema 50 which is the new platform it’s just a bit of a price jump between the SR6015 and Cinema 50 for me; anyways now I have to sell my SR5015 now. After 20+ years of last purchasing a set of B&W speakers (DM 605 S2), combined with a Marantz SR8000 receiver, I recently moved internationally and had to let go of the above items. I just got a set of B&W 603 S3 and need help deciding on an integrated amp for them. I mainly care about music and will stream Spotify through my Samsung TV and also want to get the TV sound for movies etc through the speakers. The RA1572 is the one I was initially looking at and I can get a used one in mint condition for 875€, which I would be willing to spend. What threw me off was this review despite everything I have read so far sounding amazing: Rotel RA-1572 review | What Hi-Fi? (whathifi.com) After researching amps, DACs, etc for many hours/days, I would love to get some thoughts on the following (final) contenders, keeping in mind that being able to stream Spotify (via TV app or phone) and getting the TV audio to the speakers is critical. 1) Rotel RA1572 (875€) vs Marantz PM7000 or PM7200 (350€) + separate DAC / HDMI extractor (~50 to ~100€). I understand that this is probably apples to oranges but what are your reactions and is the Marantz even something I should consider if I could afford the Rotel? 2) I won't be able to listen to either the Rotel or the Marantz with my speakers. How would you describe the sound profile? I have read about the Rotel being neutral and the Marantz being warmer but looking for some easy to understand description based on your experience. I listen to a broad range of music (goth, classical, metal, reggae, blues, etc) A MASSIVE thank you for your patience and help. I really appreciate it. Further Information: The was an amazing home theatre receiver/amp. Top of the line. It is in great physical condition. BUT it isn’t working. The power light started flashing red one day, and the book says take to a Marantz dealer. Instead I bought something else…. It might be repairable, if you know what you’re doing. The case and controls are in great condition. And the copper is probably worth $100 just on the weight! $100, which includes the two remote controls. One of the late Ken Ishiwata’s last projects for Marantz, this special edition Marantz SA-14 is a beauty that I chose as more lively and realistic sounding in preference to their more expensive Model 10 which was almost twice the price. Whatever Ken did with this machine seems to have involved adding solidity as it is an unbelievably solid as well as gorgeous looking and sounding unit. It has a ‘reeking of quality’ Marantz produced SACD mechanism but mostly I have used this unit for it’s wonderful DAC with my NAIM gear and Spendor D9.2’s.
