  1. Hello All, I guess this is my introduction as a new member. I happened upon this site as I was searching to see if there were any forums for Willsenton R8 integrated tube amp owners. I recently acquired mine a couple of months ago as part of a bookshelf system I was putting together for myself (just don't have the proper space for floor standing speakers, damn!). For anyone who cares, here's the system I put together. The Willsenton R8 to power it all. A pair of Paradigm Premier B200 speakers along with a Rogers Sound Labs (RSL) Speedwoofer. An NAD C165BEE preamplifier (because the Willsenton didn't have quite enough inputs and the NAD has a dedicated subwoofer output). A Cambridge Audio AXC35 CD player (which I'm disappointed in because it won't play one of my Neil Young cds). A Bluesound Node 2i for streaming music. A Techniques SL-1200MK2 turntable with an Ortofon 2M Blue MM cartridge. One thing I like doing, later in the evenings whilst family members are sleeping, is go down rabbit holes of YouTube music videos to search out familiar as well as new to me music. For this I have an iMac computer with a headphone setup consisting of three pieces of Schitt Audio equipment ( a Modi DAC, a Vali 2 headphone amp and a Loki 4 band equilizer) and a Sennheiser HD 660S open back headphones (yes, I know open backs leak sound, but I keep the doors shut in the room I'm listening in 🙂 ). I apologize if I went on too much, however I myself am always interested in the pieces of equipment that others have used to build their systems. Anyways, I'm looking forward to some interesting, and entertaining, audio discussions here. Cheers, George in Massachusetts
